Just Different – Required Reading
Today’s assignment: You must read the following chapter from the book The Marvelous Land of Oz. It’s a sequel to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Both books were written by L. Frank Baum (an answer to a Trivial Pursuit questiooon kiddos, so file that one a way in your noggin, ‘member L is his first initial).
The chapter will take you 10 minutes at most to read. Dad, it’ll take you 3 minutes (he’s a speed reader); Shaft, it’ll take you 5 minutes (he’s a speed reader too). My friends that can’t read without moving their lips, it’ll take you the full 10 minutes.
You don’t need any background material or have to read any of the previous chapters, you’ll be able to pick up the story right away and figure things out.
