Alias
You know how whenever you return something to a store …
They seem to always make you fill out your name and address on one of the copies of the receipts?
It serves a couple of purposes I suppose …
One, it’s an audit check to prevent fraud on the part of employees, and
Two, it’s a way, in theory at least, to track parties who return things excessively, possibly abusively.
Regardless, it’s my practice to rarely ever put my real name on the form …
Joe Hairdy nor Amy Preston are frequently used.
Instead,
I go with a fake name …
For no reason at all other than to amuse myself,
Make me laugh.
Or at least smirk.
I’ve done it for years … and it’s never been questioned.

Amy has a talent for nick names. She came up with “Yodette”. You could say she has a nick-name-knack. When she intends to give Patty a whack and her dog a bone, who knows? 😉
I would have expected that you would choose a name like Dixie Cousins or maybe even Kara Thrace as an alias but I liked how you came up with Jane Rove.
I’m pretty deadly at the general knowledge portion of trivial pursuit. My memory is chockablock with normally useless knowledge. Must be a Jedi thing. 🙂

Actually, the name of the lead character in the show is Joan Girardi (her middle name is Agnus) … and she has this teen romance thing going on … he’s crazy about her, then was heartbroken and wouldn’t speak to her, but they might be making up now, at least for an episode or so … the boy’s name is Adam … and in sort of a private, special way … when he was liking her … he called her Jane … and people mistakenly thought in doing so he was just a stoner and couldn’t keep things right … but it really was him flirting with her in his own way … and me … in feeding my television delusions … took the romance one step further … using the pet first name Jane … and then taking Adam’s last name … Rove. Disturbing, huh? The street address is where she lives in Arcadia … why do I notice these things (addresses and middle names) in shows/movies and remember them? … Heck if I know !! But trust me … you really want me on your team if you’re every playing trivial pursuit !! 🙂
Considering your passion for “Joan of Arcadia”, I’d guess Jane is a character on that show.
Yes … it’s from a television show … sort of … involves a bit of imaginatiooon on my part though …
