A Day In The Life of Amy

Wow … what a day yesterday.

Started at 7:00 AM for some electro …. I’m trying to get as much done as possible before ffs … after three hours of that …

I went to the jail to meet with a client picked up over night …

Sped back to the office to knock out some necessary filings with the court …

Chatted with Sianna for a few moments until I …

Got yelled at by a judge over the phone, and I kinda deserved it.

Bro stopped by my offices to say ‘hi’, he was downtown for some engineery-type seminar … he was on his mobile the entire time … so all he got to say was “hi” and then he had to leave. He made me laugh ! 🙂

Had a deal blew up, so I might have to go to trial on Monday now, which completely blows my weekend …

Spent several hours at court working my butt off to keep another client out of jail … was successful, but whew … it was really close … really close.

Answered about 1/2 dozen voicemail messages … only have a dozen to go …

Talked with Dr. Z about my upcoming face whacking …

Talked with Singer … she made me laugh ! 🙂

Worked a deal to turn in my leased car early and replace with another one … I was way over-miles on my lease and they had some incentives if I could pull it off … now don’t laugh … I drove an Oldsmobile … hey, it wasn’t my dad’s !!! It was an Alero … I really liked it … it was a good car. Cars aren’t that important to me, as long as they are reliable. Got confirmation on the deal being close to working at 4:30 pm and we set a paperwork time at 7:00 pm … that gave me 2 1/2 hours to get outta the office and have my satellite radio removed from my car … the first Circuit City I went to couldn’t get it done until 9:00 pm, not acceptable, so we called the other Circuit Cities in town until we found one that could do it quickly for me … found one, drove there … got the feeling they schnookered me, ’cause when I got there, they told me it’d be 8:00 before they’d be done … I used The Force … and was out of there in 30 minutes with my XM Radio and accessories nicely in a bag … made it to the dealership with 15 minutes to spare. And an hour or so later, I left with my new car.

Talked with Shaft. He made me laugh ! 🙂

Swung by Bro’s place as the dealership was kinda close to his house and my parents’ condo … all were at his placed so we gabbed for a bit while we checked out my new ride …

Picked up dinner at Wendy’s and got home in time for Big Brother …

Looked to see if anyone I knew was around to chat for a bit, but nopers …

So I feel asleep.

All of this was being done on about 2 1/2 hours of sleep …

So for a nice change of pace … I slept soundly !! 🙂

And now …

Today?

Rinse and repeat. 🙂
