Total Phreak-out !
Following in the steps of w3bgrl …. I’ve got a couple of chances to accelerate the ol’ face whacking ….. July 11 or August 8 ….. the July 11 date interferes with some pre-existing commitments, and probably is not possible ….. but the August 8 date doesn’t ….. so I’m leaning towards that one and calling it a day ….. though that would mean ….. 63 days and I’d be under the knife …. phrickin’ eeeeeek !!
a priori, baby!
Hmmmm …. isn’t Fac me cocleario vomere Latin for “Gag Me With A Spoon”? …. and let’s see …. Nihil est–in vita priore ego imperator Romanus fui …. I think that means “That’s nothing–in a previous life I was a Roman Emperor/Emperess”. 😛
Anyways, I best get going … Oblitus sum perpolire clepsydras! (I forgot to polish the clocks!)
i know things like
“ipso facto”
and
“feces est”
and
“nil illigetum carborundum”
just what i’ve picked up from reading
the footnotes…
i could never hold a conversation
with the pope,
or anything like that…
wait,
you’re saying i make you sick?
didn’t need to know latin
to know that…
:p
Fac me cocleario vomere! You don’t know Latin? For shame! Nihil est–in vita priore ego imperator Romanus fui
Hmmmm ….. my guess is that it’s something about Rising Up To Change Oneself.
you’d think a smart catholic girl
(like me)
would have an impressive command of latin,
but, no…
ummm…
does that mean
“true to life in this case”
???
i think i recognize “verus”
and “ipse”
and i think i’ve got “ad”
and “surrectum”
but…
i’d say
“help me out”
but then i’d have to tell you
which way i came in…
:p
Adsurrectum verus ipse.
The tribune answered,
“It cost me a large sum of money to get my citizenship.”
Paul said, “But I was born a citizen.”
Acts 22:28 NRSV
the sooner you go,
the sooner you’ll be recovered,
so i’m happy for you…
🙂
(see? i’m even smiling!)
