Bill and Ted’s Excellent Disclosure

I know the neighbors that live to the left of me much better than my neighbor that lives to the right of me …

And despite not letting fear of premature outting of myself to my neighbors prevent me from just coming and going as I please,

I figured it was about time I told them anyways, because around my house, it’s not like I’m shy about being me at all, and with summer finally starting, I’m just out and around the house too much.

So first on the list,

My kewl neighbors to the left of me … Bill and Ted.

Bill and Ted are a bit younger than me, but they are like the great neighbors to have …

Ted went to Michigan … Go Blue !! … is into videogames, sci fi flicks, and sports … so we easily can kill an hour here and there talking whenever we run into each other outside while he’s tending to his immaculately designed and nurtured yard and I’m griping about having to mow mine.

Bill is social and out-going, always there with a neighborly wave and a dog treat for when Leia was around.

I’ve always like Bill and Ted as neighbors because they are just simply, phreakin’ nice people …

And I wanted to tell them even though I suspected they had to have seen me before and figured out my function.

So last weekend I saw Ted while he was working in his yard and I took advantage of the setting to tell him.

He was cool with it, didn’t really say much, just listened and absorbed, but suprised me by telling me that he nor Bill had any clue.

Wow !

Then yesterday I saw Bill outside and wanted to do a follow-up with him.

I was assuming that Ted already told him my function (I asked him to when I told him),

And knew for a phact that Bill saw me the other day when I waved to him as I passed their house …

So I walked over to the fence between our yards and said …

Hey Bill, I’m assuming Ted told you my function.

Yes, he did. Congratulations, that takes such courage, thank you for trusting us enough to tell us.

And we then proceeded to have a very nice, hour long conversation where he had some great follow-up questioooons. Good stuff.

Anyways, the funny thing is that last Friday,

Two days before I told Ted,

I passed Bill and Ted as they were driving out of the neighborhood and I was driving into it … exchanging neighborly waves of course.

Apparently, as they passed me …

Bill said to Ted,

You know, Joe really looked like a woman just then.

So when Bill got home Sunday night after I had told Ted,

I guess he reminded Bill of this comment and started telling him by saying,

You were more right than you’ll ever imagine !

Too funny. 🙂
