Did You Know?
Did you know that there seems to be a private drinking hall on every street on the northwest side of my hometown?
Me neither, I knew there were some, but I didn’t realize there were what must be thousands … I’m talking thousands !! 🙂
Did you know that sometimes I say I know how to get someplace when I really have absolutely no clue?
It’s true, I rarely ever need more than a general description of where I’m going since I usually just use The Force to guide me … it’s tons more reliable than MapQuest and almost as fascinating as Keyhole.
Did you know that if you have a cold, The Force can pretty much only get you within a block of your destination?
Actually, that’s not true. The Force totally got me where I needed to go the other night, however, kuriousity sort of peeked my interest too. I figured I had identified the social hall where was I supposed to meet up with some friends, however, there were two other social halls nearby with much more convenient parking. So I figured I’d just mosey my butt into those first to eliminate them as possibles … oh yeah … and to see what was shaking.
Did you know that at private drinking halls on the westside of my hometown … they have a rule that you have to be a member in order to be allowed admittance?
It’s true, as I found out.
Did you know that if you’re a girl, apparently the previously mentioned rule doesn’t always apply?

Singer, is it true they even have private drinking churches in the area? Come on, make me a believer.
Are you kidding me? You seriously had no clue they ever existed? What kind of drinker are you anyway? I’m shaking my head right now.
It’s interesting how different communities deal with dispensing alcohol. In some places there are private drinking halls in others, drive through liquor stores!
