Weekend Golf
I had a blast this weekend when my cousin, officially known as Cousin Golfer here at AmyNews.com, flew into town for a visit and golf challenge.
A lot has changed since our last golf challenge two years ago …
No, no, no …
I’m not talking about my sex change and all,
That’s old news …
I’m talking about the fact that he has gotten much, much, much better at the game of golf,
And he was a good golfer before !!
So yes,
He kicked the living krap out of me on the course …
In fact, I’m pretty sure there are bits and pieces of my ass still out there on the back nine of the first course we played.
Anywhose …
I’ll post a summary of the festivities later,
But until then …
Just know that I had a great weekend, Cousin Golfer totally rocks, and …

You better be playing from the Ladies’ tee, or all your work is for naught. Aren’t you working for the RIGHT to play the ladies’ tee? If you don’t play from the Ladies’ tee, you aren’t playing properly. (a ryhme! a rhyme! wow! real PROSE!)

He let me choose what tees I would play from … so it was totally my call. But the answer to that questioooooon is already provided in a yet to be finished post !! 🙂

It was nice and light out by the time we teed-off an hour later !! 🙂 Lots of dew on the ground though, but not too bad.
Naw … Cousin Golfer plays golf the honest way … every stroke counts … can’t even roll the ball around for “winter rules” !!
Trust me, the ol’ Amy-smile, Amy-charm wouldn’t distract him for a moment … don’t get me wrong, we laugh lots and have tons of fun, but when we play, we’re uber-competitive … I mean, there’s bragging rights at stake here !! 🙂 I’m guessing he knows the number on the golfball I tee-off with each time … ’cause I sure know his !! lol Though on one hole, he did offer me a stroke-free drop, which initially I graciously accepted, however I felt guilty before we finished the hole and took a stroke unplayable lie penalty anyways.
By playing in the dark you can mask those really bad shots since you can’t see them go into the next zip code and then you can just smile, use that Amy-charm and covertly drop a new ball in the middle of the fairway.:)
