Cousin Luvin’

So …

It seems that the information train of my function is making its way down the tracks among my extended family,

And yesterday I got a couple of incredibly kewl surprises …

Word from two of my cousins !!

The first cousin I heard from is my taller, blonder, prettier, funnier and geekier than I cousin …

Yeah, normally you’d think I’d have little tolerance for someone who steals the show that much from me …

But she’s a really kewl cousin and would probably be an UnUsual Suspect if she lived in my hometown,

So I cut her some slack.

Anyways, just before I was leaving to go meet up with The UnUsual Suspects …

An e-mail from her popped up telling me she heard the news and giving me grief for taking so long to tell her.

Too nice !! 🙂

Then while Singer, Sister, Miss Daisy and I were gathered round a table on a deck at one of our summer drinking haunts,

Discussing important world events of the day …

Yeah right 🙂

I got a voice mail from my smarter, funnier, nicer, heckuva lot better golfer than I cousin.

Now Cousin Golfer doesn’t live near me at all (but he does live close to my friend who I owe three rounds of beer to for being so slow in answering my e-mail, and who now I probably just owe drinks for the entire night) …

But until the past year,

He’s been my cousin who I keep in touch with the most …

And with whom I really enjoy e-mailing, talking and spending time.

But then last year I was supposed to go to his place for our annual golf outing and instead I feigned overworked (well, really … I was overworked, but I could of still found time to golf) and instead went and got my FFS.

Then he invited me on the golf trip of a lifetime and I just never got back to him …

Because I didn’t want to lie to him about why I couldn’t go (and seriously, this is a golfing trip anyone in their right might would want to take),

But I also didn’t have the nerve (hehe … you thought I was going to say balls) to tell him my function yet.

Now when I started to hear that the news of Amy-Wan Kenobi was starting to make its round throughout my family,

I planned on calling Cousin Golfer and telling him the scoop.

But he beat me to the punch …

And left me the sweetest and most supportive voice-mail message.

Then when I got home,

I had an e-mail from him saying he’d like to line up a golf outing !

Though apparently the whole “which tees does Amy use” issue is going to rear its ugly head again !! lol 🙂

It’s always nice to hear from family,

But in this case …

And concerning this topic …

It’s especially nice for me.

Anywhose, as it seems that AmyNews.com is becoming more well known amongst my family,

I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome all of my relatives …
