A Spuddy Encounter
Last week I had a few work tasks that I really wasn’t enthused about doing … that just had to be done by the end of the week.
So I did what any self-respecting, red-blooded, American girl would do …
I procrastinated,
Until the end of the week.
Which meant that I had to run into the office to finish the tasks on Saturday.
And this time … for the first time … someone was there when I showed up.
Spuddy.
It was his first in-person viewing of the Wonders of Amy.
And he seemed to take it really well …
No yelling.
No shreeking.
No running away.
Just more than a few “Duuuuuude“.
While he also muttered several times,
“I don’t have a problem with it, but it’s … well … just feels sorta weird.”
So after he said “weird” several more times … I pressed him on what felt weird … because I didn’t sense he was saying I was weird, but that the just found the experience weird.
“Well, you got all these girl mannerisms and moves down so well, I mean, they really look natural … and you’ve got this whole cute look going on … wait, wait, wait … you better not put on your site that I said you were cute (Editor’s Note: Too late) … and it’s just so … well …”
“So what you’re trying to say is that if you didn’t know it was me … and you saw me on the street … you’d check me out.”
“Yeah … exactly … it’s just weird. I mean … you’re no Singer … but you don’t look bad. And well, that’s just … weird.”
Kewl.
Sometimes … weird is good !!! 🙂
Ohhhhhh … thank you !!! 🙂
*depositing payment for compliments into the mail* 🙂
