Yeah Right

It totally kracks me up !!!!

Suddenly …

When I now react to something,

Express my feelings

In a way that might display …

That same tinge of dwellness or sarcasm about an issue that I’ve often exhibited my entire life.

I’m accused of being …

Hormonal.

Do you think maybe you’re just over-reacting to this because of your hormones?

*eye roll*

Trust me, when I’m hormonal, there will be no questiooon in your mind about it !! LOL ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I’m learning that Yodette. In fact, this year I’ve purchased a couple of clearly “male” presents for a few of the boys in my life … the experience has been amazing in the difference in how my questions are answered by “male” sales personnel.

  2. maybe you should spell it hottee?
    hot tea?
    hmmm…
but, hey, damned right it’s hormones,
and i got a note saying i can have them,
    and i paid for them,
so i’m going to enjoy them,
and you’re going to hand over the chocolate
    RIGHT NOW…

  3. Can I come can I come? I wanna bowl! I wanna I wanna I wanna!!!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Whine whine whine…

    Makenna

  4. A,

Just in case your hormones are in high gear tonight…I’ll be a gentleman & bowl below average tonight. There’s no “I” in Hottie…well there is, but you get what I mean ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Get used to it. With people who don’t know, behind your back they’ll speculate with any heart-felt anger or other strong emotion if it’s “that time of the month” – part of the cultural denigration of women.

Examine the other side of the coin. Why isn’t an emotional reaction superior to a flat dispassionate “male” type reaction? There is so much sexism in attributing passion to hormones, but there is even more in the cultural assumption feeling passionate is somehow inferior for being “womanly”.
