Flirting 101
As a guy … doing the guy thing … I never really was good at recognizing when women were flirting with me … or expressing interest in me with subtle comments or actions.
Well … maybe I suspected at times, but I really didn’t know … and in light of my underlying issues … I just avoided, denied … something I was good at doing.
It was in self-defense, I knew of my TS issues … so I got good at playing clueless to blatant signs.
So I refined the art of the dodge.
I was never rude, I was never hurtful … my cluelessness was such that one could flirt with me and not feel rejected or disrespected by my lack of response … I was very successful at it.
Anyways … I’ve been learning my own flirting skills, developing them gradually, very very slowly …
And I’ve learned to recognized quickly when a woman is offering an invitation to attention.
And today … this very attractive woman who I encounter during my trial work … and who is recently unattached again … was giving me more attention that she’s ever given me before … and whereas before … I would have just brushed assigned the words she used … or the smile and glance in my direction … today … I so knew what it meant. š
At one point in my life, that stroke to my ego would have put me on cloud nine.
But today,
I just find it incredibly amusing. š
And not at her expense, but at mine !
Wait, screw railguns… I can sick some of Caitlin’s angry friends on you. You’d get whomped

Don’t be too proud of this technological terror you’ve constructed. The ability to destroy a planet … with a rail gun … is insignificant next to the power of The Force.

*snicker* *snicker* And that is why we are such a handful for iMom sometimes and why Yodette will occassionally mutter … “I cannot teach these two … they have no patience.” š
hehe, sometimes we are much alike aims. š i was going to do a similar kind of post to this, but you beat me to it! as another example, your seatbelt thing is similar to my driving recklessly thing. and there’s so many other similarities, it’s just weird. š
