gospels of Amy-Wan Kenobi – III

For those of you who are not familar with the gospels of Amy-Wan Kenobi,

It’s basically my effort to prank future generations into thinking I’m a deity of sort.

You can find the concept explained slightly more in an earlier trailer.

And yes, for the curious, there are several earlier trailers for the gospels of Amy-Wan Kenobi, but I’ve saved each one of those on a 5 1/4 inch floppy disk, placed each disk in its own tupperware container, and hid them along the shores of Lake Michigan …

In about 2 thousand years, the disks will be found and become known as The Lake Michigan Floppies.

Since disks do deteriorate over time, some of the writings will be incomplete and sugguest some inconsistencies with the recorded word of the time. As such, the authenticity of the disks will be challenged and questioned by many.

I’ve put a lot of thought into this people. (Well, not really, only about as long as it’s taken me to punch out this post ! :))

Now I know …

You’re thinking …

Hey, you’re admitting that this is all just an elaborate prank right here, so there is no way future generations will believe you are a deity of any sorts … your goon will ultimately fail.

But that’s not what will happen …

Instead,

People will see these statements not as admissions,

But simply as the parables …

That they are.

*poorly stiffled snicker* 🙂

15 months.

gospel II spanned 15 months.

Seems about right.

I’m glad it’s finally finished.

As I had told you at its start,

gospel II was sort of the dark one in this trilogy,

Difficult times, stressful events, anxiety, pain …

Just some hard krap with which to deal.

And it did feel very dark to me at times.

But as they say …

If it doesn’t kill you, it makes you stronger.

Implementing my Decision …

Coordinating surgeries,

Disclosing, and …

Dealing.

Sometimes I can’t believe I’ve done what I’ve done,

And had the fortitude to do it.

Though I really didn’t do it alone …

Having gleaned strength from my friends and family.

I feel much stronger …

Healthier,

Emboldened,

At this point.

It might not always seem to be the case,

Because I like to leave options for myself,

To retain the flexibility to change course and take advantage of opportunities,

React to situations.

And sometimes this trait of mine …

Presents an appearance of indecision or noncommitment,

But there has always been a plan to my transition …

A rhyme and reason.

The Arc is far from over.

And this is some of what you can expect in future gospels:

1. gospel III is considerably longer then gospel II.

2. There is much more action in gospel III and it has an overall upbeat flair.

3. There are very unexpected events that take place in gospel III … some might call them plot twists.

4. This is the birth episode of the first trilogy.

5. I sorta fall in-like with a guy in gospel III. I wasn’t particularly crazy about that storyline, but the money people insisted on it, saying we needed it for one of the target demos. Whatever. 🙂

6. The overall storyline covering all of the gospels will start to become clearer in gospel III as there is considerably more foreshadowing taking place.

7. Unlike gospel II, which sort of just kinda ended without a climatic battle or action scene, gospel III ends with quite the action scene.

8. My training in the ways of The Force will continue and will obviously strengthen, but the expected test of whether I am on the Light or Dark side doesn’t occur. You find out it already happened in gospel II, which will lead to speculation and debate about gospels VII, VIII and IX and if they’ll ever be made.

9. Though more positive and uplifting, there is always conflict, and there are periods of heavy hearts in gospel III.

10. Some unanswered questions will be resolved early in gospel III:

a.) My remaining Disclosures will be wrapped up;
b.) Whether or not The UnUsual Suspects will rejoin after summer break; and,
c.) Whether or not I return to working with Shaft, OBP and Spuddy.

Sorry about dragging some of that stuff out into gospel III, but again …

Blame the money people,

They said we had to do it because it makes people have to see gospel III in order to got closure with gospel II. Jerks.

11. Once again, though I amuse the daylights out of myself with posts of this nature, there’s a good argument I might have too much time on my hands. Anyways …

Episode III starts right … now !

Editor’s Note: Every time I make reference to myself as being a Jedi, being Amy-Wan Kenobi, or when I do one of these posts where I identify my inclusion in the Star Wars universe and plot the creation of my future deity-like status in my quest for the ultimate practical joke … I have to pay Singer, Hottie, Sister and Miss Daisy a dweeb-dollar ($1). Personally, I think it’s a deal at twice the price !! 🙂

  1. Lucasfilm sees this post, you are going to be sued to death, haha and not even your lawyer-powers can save you from the Lucasfilm Empire.

    related note, hows shaft?

  2. Actualy, I mis-spoke. When I wrote “…people’s…” I in fact meant “peoples’…” What I meant was, your insights into group-think is substantial.

E.G., witness the Pentatuch – book I, give ’em background. Book II, make it applicable to the reader. Book III, throw in some baddies, love interests, violence, plot twists. Make ’em want to read more.

Get Geo. Lucas to have “Amy-Wan” mentioned in the next few movies (with great reverence of course), and you’re on your way to becoming a GOD in 3051 AD, the year of the miraculous translation of the Gospels Of Amy-Wan Kenobi.

  3. Hey Greggers !!!!

Awwww thanks … usually the response from people when they read/hear these thoughts are … “you are SO going to Hell !” 🙂

No … I was far from a religion major … I concentrated in the accounting and computer science areas …

On the other hand … all Jedis are familar with the faiths and beliefs of various people and cultures … it’s just that not all of us have a serious smart aleck tendency !! 🙂 *depositing $1 into dweeb-jar*

  4. Amy-Wan said:
“If it doesn’t kill you, it makes you stronger.”

    I thought it was:
What doesn’t kill you, leaves you scarred and bitter!

    🙂
