Amanda and Nicole – Day 2

I really wasn’t that sore today and cut down on my Vicodin and Valium intake,

Though I did take it pretty easy.

For the most part, it seemed like I was either sleeping,

Or awake.

I’ve also noticed, it was getting really, really hard for me to wake up from when I’ve been sleeping.

And when I decided to fall asleep …

It was a pretty immediate need.

I still haven’t seen my boobage,

But have noticed that my face has some pretty substantive bruising and swelling developing around my mouth area.

I’m starting to look pretty beat up.

And the tape that is surrounding my lips, temples, incisions beneath my nose, and the incisions near my upper eye lids is starting to get a bit worn …

All adding to a sort of run down look.

I get to remove all the tape except for the ones around my eyes and temples on Day 3 …. yay !!!!!

Which is the exact same day I get to remove the tape and bandages from my boobs and most importantly …

Get to shower again !

Gawd do I ever want a shower.

In the a.m. of Day 2,

My mom and brother came over to visit me …

Yes, you read that right folks,

Bro came over to visit me.

For the very first time !!

Woo hoo !! 🙂

I’m really not sure he was too enthused about seeing me …

And it sure was a lousy day for him to get his first glance at me …

Because I obviously looked like krap,

But mom dragged him along because I needed a piece of siding fixed on my house and my brother is really helpful about giving me a hand with such things,

And it was really nice that even though he was a bit hesitant about coming over, he did so anyways to help me out ! 🙂

Anyways … Bro really didn’t say much … it wasn’t that it was uncomfortable or anything, but he was quiet and really didn’t look at me too much … which is understandable.

I really hope he gets more acclimated to this …

I know it’s hard for him, and I’m willing to do whatever I can do to make it easier for him …

But really …

It’s not as weird as it sounds and feels at first,

And if he thought I was a great brother for him before …

I can assure you,

I’ll be even a helluva lot better sister for him than he could ever have imagined !!

Though I still won’t let him beat me in laser tag !! 🙂

Anyways … after mom and Bro left,

I pretty much faded in and out of sleepness most of the day …

And get this,

I had totally lost my appetite.

Now that scared me !! lol 🙂

For the most part,

All I ate was some grape finger jello I had made for myself …

(Amy Snack-Tip … When making finger jello, don’t follow the instructions on the Knox gelatin box, instead follow the instructions on the Jello box … use 4 boxes of whatever flavor you like, and then instead of boiling water, mix with 2 1/2 cups of a boiling juice that you like … apple juice is my preference, and it tastes mucho yummy !!)

And then …

During one of my naps …

I was awaken with a phone call,

From none other than Miss Daisy !! 🙂

Yes, the person who named my new breasts Amanda and Nicole. (I have to believe some of you were wondering why I was tittling these posts Amanda and Nicole? And yes, that was an intentional misspelling ! For some reason, MD decided months ago to name my new breast additions Amanda and Nicole … Why? Well … I have no phreakin’ idea, but if you get a chance, feel free to ask him, I’d like to know just as much as you ! :))

Anyways, it was really nice to hear from him …

And I really appreciated the check-in.

He asked if I was up for a drink,

But unfortunately,

I wasn’t.

I was starting to tire and was finding that my voice was starting to fade.

Which is odd, as I don’t remember having the same effect with the breathing tube shoved down my throat for my last surgery.

Oh well,

Later in the evening,

Mom and Aunt Janet came to visit !!

Too fun !!

It was really nice to have both of them there just talking and laughing,

And Aunt Janet brought me my new favorite bracelet (you’ll see it in most of the following Amanda and Nicole pics ! :))

All in all …

My breasts were still feeling somewhat tight, but not as bad as I would have expected.

I had no appetite,

And I tired easily.

My lips were continuing to calm down in size,

But I still felt some uncomfortable tugging around the stitches underneath my nose,

And the bruising and swelling around my face,

Seems to be getting worse.

On a positive note,

I really haven’t had too much swelling or bruising associated with the liposuction touch-uo …

Which hasn’t hurt nearly as bad as it did the first time,

And still totally kicks butt in fine-ass results !! 🙂

Anyways … here’s today’s Day 2 picture,

And hair that hasn’t been washed in three days.
