• Rented the MIB II dvd Saturday night ….. Wow !! Did that movie ever suck !! The dog had the funniest lines …. and they weren’t that funny.
• Also rented the Scooby Doo dvd ….. Wow !! Was I ever entertained !! Okay, I confess ….. I was sooooooo hooked on the Scooby Doo cartoons growing up …. they were great !! And watching the movie as a cartoon ….. it was really entertaining for me 🙂 (Listen kids ….. no deep meaning here in the movie, you must completely suspend belief ….. but if you don’t know that going in …. come on …. talking dog ….. rote roe raggy). The dude who played Shaggy was amazing …. sounded like him, mannerisms, the works !!!! The Scooby Doo animation/cgi whatever was really good too …. very impressive !! Didn’t look too fake or hokey ! Fred was more of a jerk than I remembered from the cartoons. Daphne was more of a whiner, and even though a huge Sarah Michelle Geller fan (yes, I know, you see, this is an intentional misspelling of Ms. Gellar’s last name …… Shaft and I have this little last name pronunciation debate going on ……. I choose to pronounce her last name with the emphasis on the first syllable, as in Monica and Ross Geller [stay with me people …. Friends]….. Shaft prefers seconds …. opps, I mean the second syllable), I didn’t think was that great in the role. Velma on the other hand ….. wow, honestly, okay, I understand the confusion this can create for the “casual” reader of my site ….. but Velma was HOT !! Plus the deleted scenes included on the dvd were a fun view. Worth the rent …. someday I might even purchase.
