• Last night’s episode of Firefly was GREAT !!! The show finally seems to be developing a nice story-line and a good blend of suspense, mystery and humor …… I’d say the show is sort of a mix of The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., X-Files and Millenium. It had a little too much Millenium in it during some episodes (Chris Carter ….. what were you trying to do ???) …… last night’s episode had more Brisco County, Jr. and X-Files flavoring …. mmmmmm … very good !!
• What a day in court yesterday …… I’m still exhausted ….. did well though 🙂
• I have to do some major Christmas shopping, but not sure when I will have the time !!
• Need to buy a big turkey today ……… cooking one for the office potluck next week …… we get together with a few other offices on our floor and have a nice time …. it’s become tradition for me to bring the turkey ….. (actually, that tradition started at my old firm where I did it also) …..
• New Star Trek movie out this week …… I’ll try to see it this weekend ….. (wait ….. didn’t someone just complain about not having the time to finish their holiday shopping, but they now have the time to see a movie …… WE)
• I don’t want to work today ….. but I have too 🙁 ……… prepping a witness this morning for a hearing next week on a csc charge ….. have to go to the correctional facility to meet with another client arrested the other day ……
• Cold sore update ….. I used this Abreva stuff ….. it’s otc (over the counter, come on !!) …… about $2,000 for a tube the size of my pinky finger …. okay, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration ….. I think I paid around $15 for it ……. I used to use a couple of prescription medicines …. but this Abreva stuff …. I admit ….. works great !! I’d say it cuts down the recovery time close to a half of it’s normal duration …. this badboy started on what ?? Thursday during the day …. it’s Saturday morning and I’m almost already at the complete scabbing stage … (yuck, sick, I know, it’s not fun to have) ……. still very apparent though !
• The fact that I changed the section previously titled Lead Anchor to Lead Newsgal doesn’t mean a thing. 😛
