• Mom said something weird today ….. first she said she loved me, which isn’t uncommon at all for us to say to one another, so that wasn’t odd ….. but then she said she misses me and it’s like she hardly ever sees me anymore …. that’s really strange I think ….. I meet them for breakfast every Sunday …… and talk to them several times a week …. I’ve even stopped by unannounced a few times the last month ……. though I guess I haven’t been over there as much as I have at times ….. that’s mainly because I’m spending more time in “daughter” mode ….. and I’m beginning to suspect she senses that …. and that’s not something she’s ready for yet ….. which is why I think the “I miss you” encompasses more than it suggests on the face of it.

• I’ll do a more extensive review later ….. maybe ….. but I saw Daredevil this afternoon ….. rental only …… and wait until you can keep it more than 2 days ….. because you don’t want to take a chance of having to pay a late return fee for it !!

• Okay ….. for all of you who think I’m so tried and true American that I always pick the USA over foreign countries ….. today ….. in the playoff at the Nissan Open …. in Los Angelos …… Charles Howell III – American versus Mike Weir – Canadian ……. now understand …… I really don’t take Canada seriously …. at all ……. and that’s not likely to change …… I mean ….. generally I find their citizens amusing and entertaining ….. they are sorta, kinda, cute …… and it was a nice place to buy beer when I was still underage in the States ……. but, come on ….. they are only a free country because no one will pick on them because we’ve got their back …… (people, I’m soooooo lmao right now ….. you know why ??? Because I’m “just trying to keep the conversation lively” (Jeff Goldblum in The Big Chill) ….. and there is probably someone out there who’ll actually get offended about this bullet point !!! Lighten Up !!!!! Geezuzz !! Just to make sure we’re all even ….. I’ll make fun of us Americans later, ‘k?) ….. ‘ways ….. Charles Howell III pisses me off because he regularly beats my incredibly hot lookin’ butt when I’m playing against him in Tiger Woods 2003 on my XBox …… so I don’t like him …… oh lovey !!! (Gilligan Island reference ….. please people, try to keep up) …… and Mike Weir …… oh gawd …… he’s so way cute !! Seriously ….. he looks like Hottie except younger ….. with less gray hair …… and more of it ….. so scrumptous cute ….. both of ’em ….. so I’m doing what any red-blooded American girl would do …… cheering for the cute one !!! And yes ….. you’re welcome Mr. Weir ….. you won by getting a birdie on the second playoff hole.
