It's Not The Years, Honey. It's The Mileage.

So.

I decided to move AmyNews.com to a new publishing platform.

When I first started AmyNews.com 24 years ago,

The first post was on Blogger.com.

It wasn't a horrible experience,

But it wasn't a fun experience.

So I moved to a platform called ...

MovableType.

Which I LOVED.

To date.

It remains my favorite.

But succumbing to peer pressure in the early 2000's,

I switched to this up and coming platform that was a fork of b2.

WordPress.

I still use WordPress to this day,

For many purposes.

However, it didn't feel like the best fit for me to use with AmyNews.com.

Today.

So,

I'm giving this Ghost thing a shot.

At this point,

I've loving it.

The migration of the old posts will be deliberate so I can make sure they render well.

And if you have a favorite post you want me to get migrated sooner than later,

Just let me know.

To comment on any post and to view old posts (and possible new posts),
