Did you see the movie American Pie 2<\/a>?<\/p>\n

In the movie, there is some dual dialogue going in a scene where the girls and the guys are having similar, yet different, conversations.<\/p>\n

With the guys you have Stifler<\/a> saying …<\/p>\n

“When a girl tells you how many guys she’s slept with multiply it by three and that’s the real number.<\/i>”<\/p>\n

And with the girls you have Jessica<\/a> stating …<\/p>\n

“If a guy tells you how many girls he’s hooked-up with, it’s not even close to that. You take that number and divide it by three, then you get the real total … Rule of three, it’s an exact science consistent as gravity.<\/i>”<\/p>\n

Curiously enough, that might be a pretty accurate rule of thumb in many respects.<\/p>\n

However, I’d like to expand on that a bit further …<\/p>\n

I think the Rule of 3 also comes into play when you’re talking about the age of a woman that a man is inclined to be attracted to …<\/p>\n

As it seems that more often than not,<\/p>\n

Guys like younger girls.<\/p>\n

I’m really not sure of the reverse,<\/p>\n

In lacking a history of experience,<\/p>\n

I can’t speak for the gender yet …<\/p>\n

All I know is from my personal experience, I prefer being with guys my age or a few years older. So the converse doesn’t appear to be true.<\/p>\n

But that doesn’t matter …<\/p>\n

Because what I’m postulating here is that guys have a natural attraction towards women 1\/3 their age (give or take 1\/3).<\/p>\n

Why one third?<\/p>\n

Well, first of all, it doesn’t hurt in keeping the Rule of 3 somewhat relevant for one thing …<\/p>\n

But most importantly,<\/p>\n

I’m basing this entirely on my personal experience.<\/p>\n

I’ve noticed that I have an astonishing ability, if I do say so myself (we), to attract men who are in their mid-50’s.<\/p>\n

Can I catch the eye of the cute guy my age?<\/p>\n

Oh sure, on occasion, but not with any comfortable consistency.<\/p>\n

But plop a mid-50’s guy at the bar,<\/p>\n

Or behind me in the grocery line,<\/p>\n

Or at the theatre,<\/p>\n

Or while I’m in a restaurant,<\/p>\n

Or … whatever.<\/p>\n

And the knuckleheads talking to me all over the place …<\/p>\n

While totally eyeing me from head<\/s> breast to toe<\/s> breast …<\/p>\n

And learing at me with a look that makes me think …<\/p>\n

If you were only 10 years younger.<\/p>\n

Oh well … I do so love the attention !<\/p>\n

I think I’m going to start hanging out at senior golf outtings !! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
