Yes … they’ve brought back kareoke at the bowling alley on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n
Long, long time ago …<\/p>\n
I can still remember how the music …<\/p>\n
Used to make me smile.<\/i><\/p>\n
Well, it really wasn’t that long ago … about three or four years I’d say.<\/p>\n
And I’m not sure it was smiling that people were doing, but more like outright laughter.<\/p>\n
At me.<\/p>\n
Back in the early stages of The UnUsual Suspects … they used to have kareoke at the bowling on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n
And we’d stay … and take over the bar.<\/p>\n
We’d be the only ones singing for the most part …<\/p>\n
A rotation of Singer, Hottie, Me and then all of The UnUsual Suspects at the time performing under our stage name of The InBreeds.<\/p>\n
Different times … different days.<\/p>\n
Same behavior. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
But they stopped having that a couple of years ago … I guess because it was primarily just us at the bar … and they couldn’t justify the cost of kareoke … knowing full well we’d stay and drink anyways without it.<\/p>\n
Bastards.

\nAnyways … for some reason it’s back in the mix,<\/p>\n
And Singer and Hottie took control of the stage Wednesday night.<\/p>\n
It was only the three of us representing The UnUsual Suspects in the bar this night …<\/p>\n
Singer, Hottie and Me.<\/p>\n
Sister had to leave early.<\/p>\n
And Miss Daisy had an alternate engagement … yeah, like anything could be more important that us ?? LOL<\/p>\n
For a change, I didn’t take the microphone once that night …<\/p>\n
But instead watched both Singer and Hottie try out new songs,<\/p>\n
Which they did masterfully !!<\/p>\n
Personal favorite moment … Hottie singing Rock This Town while Singer and I danced to exhaustion … well, at least I was exhausted … I really think you guys should still let me take up social smoking if I’m going to be this out of shape anyways !!! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Now … it was kind of a quiet night last week …<\/p>\n
In fact, even the other team commented …<\/p>\n
“You guys aren’t drinking as much as you normally do, are you feeling okay?<\/i>”<\/p>\n
Well … that’s probably because Miss Daisy wasn’t there !!! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
But we did get a surprise visit from Shaft !!!<\/p>\n
Just after the first game started, out of the blue …<\/p>\n
All of the sudden I saw Singer’s face light up and she exclaimed with a smile …<\/p>\n
“Hey Kool-Aid !!!<\/i>”<\/p>\n
I grabbed the pitcher of beer just as it was about to bounce off the table … and turned to see Shaft ambling towards us !!! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
So nice !! It was just like old times … well, not quite … Shaft … (though at bowling now … he’s referred to as Straight Shaft) … was sitting where Miss Daisy sits, which is where Hottie sat last year … Singer sits where Shaft used to sit … Hottie sits where Singer used to sit … and Sister and I sit where we’ve always sat. Got it? Good … because it’s not important ! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Anyways … it was a really relaxing, mild night … just easy catching up on times …<\/p>\n
Oh sure … there were a few moments …<\/p>\n
“He touched my back fat !<\/i>”<\/p>\n
“She got her hand caught between the balls.<\/i>”<\/p>\n
“I barely made it to work before I had to change my tampon … again.<\/i>”<\/p>\n
“… well, I don’t have balls.<\/i>”<\/p>\n
But it was rather uneventful …<\/p>\n
Until …<\/p>\n
Sister got this brilliant idea that we should smuggle in some of the Red Bull she has in her trunk … (she’s driving around with a case of it in her truck … I told you she likes the stuff !!)<\/p>\n
