Our offices are in a restored older building.<\/p>\n
It has a rather neat character to it … hardwood floors, brick walls, high ceilings … kinda kewl krap.<\/p>\n
In the beginning days … Shaft and I found this location because Satan’s company had recently moved into this building.<\/p>\n
And over the years we’ve gotten to know many of the people that work at Satan’s company … nice folks.<\/p>\n
With the exception of one person who rents an isolated office and is rarely heard from … it’s only Satan’s company plus us on this floor …<\/p>\n
And with my upcoming implentatiooooon … it was only right and fair that the people that work at Satan’s office be brought into the loop …

\nThere really aren’t that many of them, and we’ve gotten to know them over the years such that I felt I could trust them with the information … that it wouldn’t be used against me … and that for the most part, their attitudes seemed like it really wouldn’t be any big deal to them whatsoever.<\/p>\n
Besides, they had all been asking about the changes in my appearance anyways and were speculating enough as it was …<\/p>\n
So there were four people there that did not know or hadn’t figured it out …<\/p>\n
And today … there remains only two.<\/p>\n
Satan asked me if she could tell them … and I said fine … offered to tell them with her … but she wanted to do it on her own …<\/p>\n
Which was kewl.<\/p>\n
I thanked her for giving me the heads up first,<\/p>\n
Asked her to tell them if they wanted to talk to me or had any questioooons afterwards, just to let me know and to feel free to ask …<\/p>\n
Reminded her to request they maintain the confidence of the information …<\/p>\n
And told her that as far as the bathroom issue goes … it won’t be an issue …<\/p>\n
If I show up at the office chica … I’ll use the unisex restroom on the first floor.<\/p>\n
Anyways, apparently when the information was shared, it was accepted well. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
One of the women, Lara Kroft, suggested having a coming out party for me … hehe … kewl, more drinks \ud83d\ude42 … and the other, High School Krush, asked a couple really good questions …<\/p>\n
If I could have it to do all over again, what type of setting would I have desired growing up such that I would feel comfortable talking with my family when I was younger and not keep it suppressed?<\/i><\/p>\n
Hmmmmm, I really had the perfect setting growing up … my parents were and are simply amazing. Supportive, understanding, caring, wise … perfect. I think I suppressed, kept it hidden, mainly because I was aware of societal issues and negative vibes about this … especially back in the era when I was in my teens … not because of any perceived intolerance of my parents. If anything, one of my faults is I hate letting people down, disappointing them … heck, even to this day, I take complaints about me hard … so I guess I did suppress because of my perceived feeling I would have been letting my family down … but that was me more than them. I’ve always felt I could talk with them about anything. It’s just I didn’t want to talk to them about this !!! \ud83d\ude42 I think given the same facts, in today’s era, I would have talked to my parents in my early teens.<\/p>\n
Then as Satan was wrapping up the conversation … she mentioned I’d be using the bathroom downstairs …<\/p>\n
And apparently there was a laugh and the response …<\/p>\n
