So … in the midst of my weekend of excessive workage …<\/p>\n
I did find time to yet again disclose to another person.<\/p>\n
We’ve got a part-time assistant that works for us,<\/p>\n
Martha,<\/p>\n
And she definitely needed to know.<\/p>\n
She works full-time for Satan’s company, which is on the same floor as us in our building …<\/p>\n
And she has expressed concerned about my health over the past.<\/p>\n
I had intended on telling her earlier, but was talked out of it at the time by Satan and One Hot Blonde who were uncertain about her posible reactiooooon !!<\/p>\n
Anyways … as my hours remaining in boy are dwindling …<\/p>\n
I really needed to tell Martha and soon.
\n
\nSo …<\/p>\n
Martha had spent the weekend in the office working her ass off doing some major orgainzing of files and such for us …<\/p>\n
And Sunday afternoon I asked her to see me of she had time before she left to twalk with me,<\/p>\n
Which she did.<\/p>\n
Now, this Disclosure occupied a total of .00000004 seconds of my attention before I started in on the speech … I didn’t really put any thought into what I was going to say.<\/p>\n
Mainly because I wasn’t nearly as concerned that she would have a difficult reaction as others thought she might have …<\/p>\n
I figured she would be fine with it.<\/p>\n
So … I started out with the typical Amy-Disclosure speech … requesting confidence in the sharing of this informatioooon … and then the typical blah-blah-blah about having a condition called gender identity dysphoria, more commonly thought of as transsexualism, which in its more severe forms, will lead those suffering from such a condition to seek a sex change operation.<\/p>\n
It’s the standard speech I’ve used throughout … I’ve found it useful beause it starts with a medical reference to the condition, touches on the more common phrase with which people might be familiar, and then hits with a splash of cold water the reality that we’re talking sex change here …<\/p>\n
Yeah, I know nomenclature is not quite correct, but hey … we can’t get too specific at this stage of talking … and though not exactly the most perfect, purest of technically correct language … it conveys the message and philosophy … and gets the gist of the point across quickly.<\/p>\n
And how did she take the news?<\/p>\n
Amazingly well !!!<\/p>\n
In fact, as I’ve been so fortunate with most of my twalks …<\/p>\n
It’s hard to for me to say which is which as far as greatness …<\/p>\n
But I can definitely say this Disclosure ranks as one of my top ten !!!! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
She was soooo insightful …<\/p>\n
Soooo understanding.<\/p>\n
When I got to the point where I confided that I had known “something was wrong with me since I was around 4-5<\/i>“,<\/p>\n
She interrupted me and firmly stated …<\/p>\n
“Nothing was wrong with you, maybe something was different about you, but there’s nothing wrong with this … then or now.<\/i>”<\/p>\n
Sweet, huh ? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
I never thought if that before, a very good point<\/p>\n
And it got better from there.<\/p>\n
She conveyed total support … relief there wasn’t a more serious health issue … and hope that I’d just stick things out around the office.<\/p>\n
Kewl !!<\/p>\n
She wanted to make sure I had gotten lots of help with this, proper counseling and medical evaluation …<\/p>\n
And that ultimately, my happiness is what’s important at this point.<\/p>\n
“You can call it selfish if you want. Then be selfish. Do something that makes you happy, makes you feel better, for a change. You need to do that.<\/i>”<\/p>\n
And get this … that’s the last Disclosure I have for people at work.<\/p>\n
Satan will need to tell a few people at her office … I think there are like four that are left there that don’t know (she doesn’t have a big office) … but other than that …<\/p>\n
Everyone that needs to know … knows.<\/p>\n
And though there might be some gasps of surprise and shock …<\/p>\n
