Swelling has finally started to abate !! Woo hoo !! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Ouch … shhhhh … please quiet down.<\/p>\n
The headache on the other hand … remains !! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Things have pretty much settled down into a normal routine and my recovery seems to have grooved into a nicely blah mode ! My stomach hurts still, but not as bad, and the results … holy krap !! Totally worth it !! My scalp advance from the front is fine, but with Dr. Z’s technique, it doesn’t do the corners as well … I wish I had another inch or so there, but ’tis not to be. I don’t think it’s bad though, not a tellable issue, and besides, I do have to remember … I am 40 years old !! Phuck !! \ud83d\ude42 (Ahhhh … this is the point dear viewers when you hit the comment button below and add … “My gawd, I’d have never guessed, you don’t look a day over 35 !<\/i>” \ud83d\ude42 )

\nDr. Z’s office has called me each day this week following up on how I was feeling. In fact, Dr. Z called each time but once and didn’t make me feel rushed in answering my questioooons and telling me what to do. Well done.<\/p>\n
I go see him tomorrow for the removal of the rest of the nasal splint and some other stuff he’s supposed to do. Honestly, I don’t remember anything beyond removing the splint. I hope that the staples in my head get removed. I seem to recall the stitches in the front of my forehead are dissolvable … but the staples on the other hand …. I can’t imagine they dissolve, and I’m starting this odd habit of playing with the staples sticking out of my head !! Weird.<\/p>\n
And while I’m logging my surgery effects … the rotten fruit in my southern regions remains somewhat … spoiled … but all have returned to its previous understated size !! Thank gawd. And for the first time since Saturday … well … I did more than just urinate. Sometimes I really wish I could have private entries … you too, huh? lol<\/p>\n
My appetite … I’m starving … but yet I have no interest in eating. I just don’t get it. I’m totally forcing myself to consume anything and it’s such a half-hearted effort … it’s really become embarassing. My nasal congestion seems to be reduced, though I’m still finding a need to blow my nose … very cautiously. My forehead still feels phreaking wild with its whole lack of sensation thing … when I’m washing my hair and it’s hanging in the front of my face … it sort of feels like there is something attached to my head holding my hair … really interesting. I’ve also noticed that in the past week, I’ve shed more hair than I normally seem to lose … I don’t know if it is near the incision trauma or what … but seems like I’m finding lost flyers everywhere. My upper lip seems to be regaining some movement, which is very nice. My mom even commented today that I almost did my normal smirk thing !! \ud83d\ude42 There remains little life in my forehead … it’s wrinkle free, which so doesn’t look normal, and completely immobile …. I fear I’ll never be able to do that Spock eyebrow lift thing … not that I could before, but hey … one can dream ! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
I’ll do a more formal thank you later, but in the meantime, to all of you … those who commented, those who e-mailed, those that text messaged me, those who thought of me, those I talked to, thoe that checked in on me, those that took care of me, those that drove me places, and those in whose home I crashed … THANK YOU !! You can’t imagine how much of a positive difference each and every one of you have made in this experience for me. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
