When after reading that scripts for hormones would be more difficult to obtain if I was a smoker or chewed tobacco …<\/p>\n
I quit cold turkey my 12 year habit of chewing tobacco. And for the first time in dozens of attempts to quit, I had the motivation to follow through.<\/p>\n
Then a little more than 2 years ago … I committed to lose the weight I had gained when I quit chewing.<\/p>\n
I’m down about 30 lbs from my high weight.

\nAnd then about 18 months ago … I started the process of gradually modifying Joe Hairdy’s appearance … purpose of such was to get people used to Joe Hairdy looking one way … knowing that many minor characteristics are completely different for Amy.<\/p>\n
Joe wears glasses, Amy usually doesn’t; Joe’s hair has become very light blonde over the months, Amy’s hair will return to a darker, dirty blonde; Joe’s hair is always gelled down tight, Amy’s is loose and light (my hair people !!); Joe presents some remnants of size still with baggy, loose fitting clothes, Amy wears things tight.<\/p>\n
Nothing major, just small subtle differences. All part of my attempt to force a reset of people’s internal memory of my appearance consistent with my gender perception theory.<\/p>\n
But I need some finishing touches. I decided that in addition to my upcoming face whacking … I’m also going to have some liposuction in my waist region. I’ve lost the weight, but I just can seem to get rid of the love handles … grrrrr. Despite the crunches, exercising, purging … they won’t go away !! (Kidding on the purging kids, just seeing if you’re awake.)<\/p>\n
So for an additional $3,500 to my face quote, I’m hopefully going to leave with a thinner, more femininely sculpted waist-line.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
