Here’s the scoop … if I attempted to post everything in one post … it’d be longer than one of iMom’s comments … hehe … (jk iMom !! Please don’t stop the love !!) \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
So here’s what I’m going to do …

\nI’ll post the experiences of my weekend in separate entries … right now it’s looking like there are a total of five posts … My Visit With Doctor Z, My Events With Ex, My Events with Mom and Dad, My Personal New Hope Realization, and Fear.<\/p>\n
Though if you’re anything like me … you want to know how it all ends right away … I mean … come on, we all know … I can blab in exhausting detail … you just want the substance …<\/p>\n
That being the case … here’s the summary:<\/p>\n
My pre-surgery meeting with Dr. Z went great ! I’m so excited ! \ud83d\ude42
\nAfter many tears, I think Ex and I are in a very good place. \ud83d\ude42
\nAfter some honest talk, Mom and Dad reaffirmed their love for me and that they will support me. \ud83d\ude42
\nOption 1 gives me A New Hope \ud83d\ude42
\nThe Sudden Removal Of Obstacles Scares The Krap Out Of Me \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Now just because you know how it ends … don’t skip reading the posts … ’cause there was a bunch of good stuff. Ex has some great comments; Dad has some amazingly wise insights (at one point, I told him I wish I was taping this); Mom says some incredibly blunt, funny, such-mom things; Dr. Z gives me some too kind compliments that one gives to those tendering to them canoe loads of money; Shaft checked in on me to make sure I was okay on my trip back from Chicago and then made me laugh my ass off; Singer checked in on me to make sure I was okay on my trip back from Chicago and offered yet another suggestion for a name other than Amy; I realized that I like Michigan and Illinois, but Indiana leaves me wanting; the collective wisdom of my viewers – their comments, e-mails, and messages brought me to a new level of compassion and enlightenment over the weekend; and last, but not least, I consumed 8 salads in two days and now find myself hating lettuce.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
