So I’m telling OBP the scoop today … and I’m running through in my mind what version of Disclosure I will use … tweaked and modified of course.<\/p>\n
Yeah, okay, I’m almost hesitant to admit this … ’cause I know you’ll all go … “Figures, nothing is ever simple with her<\/i>” … but I basically have four Disclosure speeches … all have the same premise … I treat my condition and Disclosures in a very clinical, analytical way … what really varies mainly is the extent of personal information that I include in the Disclosure …<\/p>\n
Level 1 Disclosure is reserved to the select few. Mom, Dad, Singer and Shaft are the only recipients of such information to date. They receive … total, complete and full Disclosure.<\/p>\n
Level 2 Disclosure is close to Level 1. It includes the same depth of honesty, but excludes many personal elements. This is the version most other family and friends get.<\/p>\n
Level 3 Disclosure is just the basics. Very little personal information. To date, I’ve done this one very infrequently, though it’ll probably be the one used for the blanket Disclosures in the upcoming future.<\/p>\n
Level 4 Disclosure is pretty much blunt, used with men in a bar, and proceeded by me saying the following … “If I tell you I’m a boy, will you go away?<\/i>” (Yes, I’ve actually used that line, I stole it from someone else, but I can’t remember who, actually, it might have been Singer. Anyways, you really shouldn’t use it, as it could create serious personal safety issues. I was just in the right setting at the right time: straight bar, friends watching my back, and the poor boy was so drunk when I said it, he never thought for once it might be true, he just thought I was being a bitch. Which of course, I was.)<\/p>\n
Anyways … I’ve decided to go with Disclosure Level 2. I’m really not optimistic on how this Disclosure will go … in fact, with this one … I think it could go poorly.
