When I’m sick,<\/p>\n
I make my special get better soon drink …<\/p>\n
1\/2 Vernor’s,<\/p>\n
1\/2 lots of pulp orange juice.<\/p>\n
Sometimes I add some chocolate ice cream to the mix …<\/p>\n
On occasion I’ve been known to drop in a shot of Jack Daniels.<\/p>\n
Anyways …<\/p>\n
After my recent bout of cold sickness,<\/p>\n
I had a little orange juice left,<\/p>\n
And about 3\/4’s of a 2 liter of Vernor’s still in the fridge.<\/p>\n
So I decided to make myself a mixture of it tonight.<\/p>\n
Now we all know that with lots of pulp orange juice …<\/p>\n
As you get near the bottom of it …<\/p>\n
It sort of congeals …<\/p>\n
So it’s necessary to shake the container,<\/p>\n
Loosen things up.<\/p>\n
So I removed the orange juice and Vernor’s from the fridge,<\/p>\n
Set the one aside …<\/p>\n
And started shaking.<\/p>\n
I gave it a good shake …<\/p>\n
Really good shake,<\/p>\n
And then opened the container.<\/p>\n
It’s at this point where I offered yet additional proof of my natural blondeness …<\/p>\n
As Indy and I became drenched in Vernor’s …<\/p>\n
As did my kitchen counters, floor and window coverings.<\/p>\n
Then with Vernor’s dripping off my eye lashes,<\/p>\n
I peered over to the kitchen counter …<\/p>\n
And saw the orange juice container.<\/p>\n
Somehow …<\/p>\n
I had set aside the orange juice and shook up the Vernor’s.<\/p>\n
