Let me explain … see … those new pictures I posted … of me re-shaping my brows …<\/p>\n
Honestly … it looks worse than it actually was …<\/p>\n
I’m really not that anal-retentive, over analytical, disturbingly evaluative.<\/p>\n
Whatever.<\/p>\n
I doubt I’m the only girl who has ever marked up her face with liner as part of her brow shaping activities. It’s just most of the others tend to be in their mid-teens when doing it.<\/p>\n
Anyways … in my opinion … eyebrows are the picture frames of the face … they can really enhance your appearance or do a great disservice.<\/p>\n
And it’s a totally dangerous thing to attempt on your own … because it’s really easy to dork up your eyebrows.<\/p>\n
Now I have mine shaped at a salon … but the last time I had them shaped, the woman doing it thought I was a guy … so though I was able to scam a feminine shape … it wasn’t exactly what I wanted.<\/p>\n
Also, my face has started to settle since my ffs and my brows are in a different location than they were … a location with a shape that I didn’t think looked good at all.<\/p>\n
So I did some on-line research as to what to do … what would work with my face … tips and suggestions … stuff I had done before … and decided to go at it.<\/p>\n
I also mentally prepared myself for the very good possibility I’d totally screw it up !! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Now … you see … reallly … I am a blonde !!!! And my eyebrows … totally white blonde, you really can’t see them that well. So in order to get a good view as to what I was going to pluck … I applied the shadow that I use on my brows to shade them normally … but I didn’t feel I was getting enough visability for the little ones that needed plucking … so I figured I’d apply a little mascara to see if that helped …<\/p>\n
It did, but geezuz, did I ever create a mess.<\/p>\n
My hair kept falling in my face, which is how normally I like it, but it didn’t work well for plucking … and it was getting mascara over everything … so I clipped and bobby-pinned it back for that nice, just slept in, hair-do …<\/p>\n
And then … plucking hairs with mascara on them … it’s a bit more of a challenge than I would have thought …<\/p>\n
Plus with all that shadow and mascara everywhere … it made it a bit more difficult to actually see what the heck I was plucking and the shape for which I was striving … oh, and if you were wondering … in addition to my lashes, I apparently have the ability to clump my mascara on my brows, too !! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Anyways … after all was said and done … I was surprised I didn’t ph- myself up more than I did … sweet. \ud83d\ude42 And I thought I looked like a total dweeb in those pics, so of course, I had to share them !! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
