This week’s Friday Five:

1. What is your favorite type of literature to read (magazine, newspaper, novels, nonfiction, poetry, etc.)? I crave learning new things, so most of my reading material is nonfiction. I am a true crime junkie and read many books along those lines. I don’t subscribe to a newspaper, I get my news primarily from the web and sites providing news, opinions and analysis. I subscribe to Maxim, Cosmopolitan and PC World. I do enjoy reading some transgendered fiction (stories where boys become girls through magic) ….. my favorite author is The Professor.

2. What is your favorite novel? Hmmmm …… novel ….. Dune, Frank Herbert.

3. Do you have a favorite poem? No, I don’t. I’m more into song lyrics, which I consider poetry. Lyrics mean so much to me, and I have so many different songs that touch a chord (get it? music sorta type reference) for various moods. Though if I gotta toss one out that sort of seems to sum up my life …… I know it’s all pop and stuff ….. but Never Surrender, Corey Hart.

4. What is one thing you’ve always wanted to read, or wish you had more time to read? I would like to read books to gain a much greater understanding of Greek and Roman mythology.
