I recently found myself roaming the halls of my high school.<\/p>\n
I can’t say for certain if it was the first time I’ve returned to my high school since graduation,<\/p>\n

It was the first time I remember <\/em>returning to my high school since graduating …<\/p>\n A mere 27 years ago !<\/p>\n Phreakin’ A<\/em> ! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Weird.Strange.Life enough,<\/p>\n My last memory of being in said high school facility was standing in line with Baked Apple getting ready to walk into the fieldhouse for the diploma distribution ceremonies.<\/p>\n But back to now,<\/p>\n Yesterday,<\/p>\n D-Lo’s son was participating in the state finals of an scholastic competition,<\/p>\n Which were being held at said location of A<\/em> secondary education,<\/p>\n And D-Lo was the team head coach,<\/p>\n So I figured it would be fun to go watch D-Lo coach,<\/p>\n Offspring perform,<\/p>\n All in the environment of my old high school,<\/p>\n Which I did.<\/p>\n Now …<\/p>\n Just as I never know how someone will respond,<\/p>\n React,<\/p>\n To My Function sharing,<\/p>\n I have learned that I never know how I’ll react when finding myself in settings of heavy Joe past.<\/p>\n Sometimes a setting of great memory magnitude …<\/p>\n Will wreck me up seriously.<\/p>\n Seriously.<\/p>\n Other times,<\/p>\n It does not register even a blip on the psyche wreckage scale.<\/p>\n One just doesn’t know.<\/p>\n I do know,<\/p>\n However,<\/p>\n That I find myself dysfunctionally non-interested in avoiding such memory intense situations,<\/p>\n And that when I find myself seriously wrecked by one,<\/p>\n Will revisit said situation until it no longer wrecks me seriously.<\/p>\n Testing myself.<\/p>\n Pushing.<\/p>\n Not knowing how I was going to react to roaming the halls containing my old lockers,<\/p>\n I was naturally kurious to see what would go down with me.<\/p>\n At least I think it’s a natural kuriousity. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Regardless,<\/p>\n Back in my day,<\/p>\n My high school was a large school …<\/p>\n And it’s gotten even larger over the years.<\/p>\n But despite some facial extensions,<\/p>\n And building additions,<\/p>\n I noticed driving into the upperclassman parking lot in which I had parked my rockin’ 64 1\/2 Mustang in 1981,<\/p>\n It’s core presentation appeared unchanged.<\/p>\n Once inside,<\/p>\n It was confirmed.<\/p>\n The commons area still looked like the commons area I remembered,<\/p>\n The media center was still the same media center,<\/p>\n Just more computers,<\/p>\n And the freshman wing,<\/p>\n Though now absorb into the upper classman facilities,<\/p>\n Still had the hallways and presence of the freshman wing of old.<\/p>\n I had a blast.<\/p>\n D-Lo’s team did great,<\/p>\n It’s always a hoot watching younglings do their scholastic thing.<\/p>\n I also got to roam around,<\/p>\n Snoop.<\/p>\n I saw a couple of my old lockers,<\/p>\n Several classrooms,<\/p>\n And spotted Joe in a picture in one of the conference championship photos lining the fieldhouse wall.<\/p>\n Such a squirrel.<\/p>\n Since the commons cafeteria was open to feed the competitive academic masses,<\/p>\n I even got to treat myself to a hamburger and chocolate chip cookie,<\/p>\n As I was wondering if they were as good and tasty as I remembered.<\/p>\n They weren’t. *shrug*<\/p>\n All in all,<\/p>\n It was a total non-reactionary event for me.<\/p>\n Not an issue in the least,<\/p>\n Which is kewl,<\/p>\n Meaning unless a special need arises,<\/p>\n I probably won’t go there again.<\/p>\n Confess I will,<\/p>\n That even though I didn’t have the need,<\/p>\n Urge,<\/p>\n I did make it a special point to use to Girl’s Restroom.<\/p>\n I always wondered what they looked
