Are well aware that despite my moderately outgoing nature,<\/p>\n

I’m a big bottle of krazy insecurity when it comes to my passability.<\/p>\n
I assume that every time I katch someone looking at me,<\/p>\n
Or when I meet pretty much anyone for the first time,<\/p>\n
I get Function called.<\/p>\n
It’s probably not entirely healthy that such is my baseline belief,<\/p>\n
As I’ll admit,<\/p>\n
It does mess me up on occasion.<\/p>\n
Oh yeah.<\/p>\n
However,<\/p>\n
I do have a fairly decent handle on it,<\/p>\n
So it’s not as unhealthy a confidence deficiency as one might suspect it to be.<\/p>\n
Nonetheless,<\/p>\n
On occasion,<\/p>\n
My severe p2<\/span> does kreate some sweet,<\/p>\n To me,<\/p>\n Experiences.<\/p>\n Today I was at my post office,<\/p>\n Which has the rocking-ist kewl post office staff.<\/p>\n They are my favorite !<\/p>\n Anyways,<\/p>\n I just always assumed they knew my Function,<\/p>\n At least two of them with whom I normally gab.<\/p>\n I mean,<\/p>\n Heck,<\/p>\n Joe went to the same post office regularly before,<\/p>\n And I have a post office box there where to this day Joe continues to get mail,<\/p>\n Mainly junk.<\/p>\n But it’s the same post office box where I have my mail forwarded since I moved a few years back,<\/p>\n As well as a drop point for a few of my friends’ local mail deliveries.<\/p>\n So yes,<\/p>\n It is accurate to say,<\/p>\n Mail to several different people gets delivered to that box.<\/p>\n But still,<\/p>\n I just always figured,<\/p>\n That everyone there knew that mail sent to Joe …<\/p>\n Was mail sent to me.<\/p>\n Figured,<\/p>\n That is …<\/p>\n Until today.<\/p>\n For today there was one of those yellow cards in my post office box saying I had a delivery to pick up at the counter.<\/p>\n So I meandered my way to the counter,<\/p>\n Shouting hola’s to my post office peeps.<\/p>\n We gabbed about the weekend,<\/p>\n And then one went in the back to get my delivery.<\/p>\n Turns out it wasn’t a delivery for me,<\/p>\n But one for Joe.<\/p>\n Bastard.<\/p>\n It was from a charitable organization to which he contributed,<\/p>\n And it didn’t appear to be anything special,<\/p>\n Other than it was too large of an envelope to fit into the smallest post office box one could purchase,<\/p>\n Which is what I have purchased.<\/p>\n It was a little thicker than I would have thought it to be if it was just an annual report,<\/p>\n So as I gabbed there at the counter with one of the post office rockers,<\/p>\n I started to open it,<\/p>\n You know,<\/p>\n To see what it was,<\/p>\n Maybe it was a calendar !!!<\/p>\n Woot !<\/p>\n And that’s the moment I got a pleasant Monday morning surprise.<\/p>\n “You’re not going to open his mail, are you?<\/em>”<\/p>\n I was queried.<\/p>\n “Ah …<\/em>”<\/p>\n I intelligently proffered in order to buy some time for composing a response,<\/p>\n While the dj in my head spun Pachelbel’s Canon in D …<\/p>\n History’s greatest one hit wonder …<\/p>\n To give my brain some classical encouragement while crafting an answer.<\/p>\n Getting close …<\/p>\n Close …<\/p>\n Closer …<\/p>\n Got it.<\/p>\n “I’m definitely not going to … <\/em><\/p>\n At least in front of you,<\/em>”<\/p>\n I delivered accompanied with the “Snarky Eyes Moving Side to Side” move.<\/p>\n “Good, because that you’re not supposed to do.<\/em>”<\/p>\n I generated the intended laugh, change topic response …<\/p>\n And a new topic of conversation was gravitated towards.<\/p>\n But when I eventually turned to leave,<\/p>\n I did thank them for making my day,<\/p>\n Though now,<\/p>\n I’m not sure if they have any idea why.<\/p>\n Epilogue:<\/strong> When I got back to my office, I opened up Joe’s mail. And sadly, it turned out to be just an annual report. I was disappointed.
