I used to be one of these<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In fact,<\/p>\n

I was telling Kenna earlier this week,<\/p>\n

That I would really like a nice guy in my life.<\/p>\n

Well,<\/p>\n

That’s really not true …<\/p>\n

I do have a nice guy in my life,<\/p>\n

He’s incredibly nice …<\/p>\n

And to me even,<\/p>\n

But he’s not like here,<\/p>\n

Which makes it a bit more difficult for him to do that thing nice guys do sometime where they say …<\/p>\n

“Their loss, not yours. Now let’s go grab a beer and burger, then if you’re up for it later, we’ll knock off a few rounds of House of the Dead II.<\/i>”<\/p>\n

(Back off … that’s what nice guys say in MY world !! :))<\/p>\n

Anyways …<\/p>\n

As someone who has the unique perspective of being both a former nice guy,<\/p>\n

And currently a woman who would kill for a nice guy in her active life,<\/p>\n

I feel the urge to toss out my thoughts on the topic.

\nNow what makes a nice guy …<\/p>\n

A nice guy,<\/p>\n

Is not that they are nice …<\/p>\n

Be real,<\/p>\n

Any guy can be nice …<\/p>\n

If they want something.<\/p>\n

No,<\/p>\n

What makes a nice guy …<\/p>\n

A nice guy,<\/p>\n

Is that they take you seriously.<\/p>\n

One of the greatest culture shocks I’ve found since accepting my life under society’s rules for a double-X …<\/p>\n

Is how in conversations with guys,<\/p>\n

Interactions …<\/p>\n

I’m routinely ignored,<\/p>\n

Barely listened to,<\/p>\n

Or regardless of what I say …<\/p>\n

Told I’m wrong.<\/p>\n

On one hand,<\/p>\n

It’s super nice for me to be so treated as just another woman.<\/p>\n

However,<\/p>\n

It’s taken me a while to get used to this treatment …<\/p>\n

And I have yet to figure out exactly how I’m going to respond in a default manner,<\/p>\n

Since I’m still managing such encounters on a case-by-case basis for now.<\/p>\n

But nice guys don’t do that …<\/p>\n

They actually listen to what you say,<\/p>\n

And get a load of this,<\/p>\n

They realize their penis size doesn’t shrink if they per chance say the words “you’re right<\/i>” to woman.<\/p>\n

Now at this point,<\/p>\n

The guy whose penis size does shrink at the thought of saying “you’re right<\/i>” to a woman …<\/p>\n

Is probably muttering something like,<\/p>\n

“Stupid woman, he’s only pretending to listen so he can get in your pants.<\/i>”<\/p>\n

However,<\/p>\n

That’s not always the case.<\/p>\n

Oh sure …<\/p>\n

There are some guys who are pretend nice guys,<\/p>\n

Just trying to work the system in an effort to score …<\/p>\n

But they aren’t really nice guys.<\/p>\n

And this isn’t saying that at some point nice guys don’t end up with someone they’ve been nice to …<\/p>\n

As eventually they’ll end up with someone,<\/p>\n

And as a nice guy,<\/p>\n

They’ll have probably been nice to the woman they are with …<\/p>\n

Obviously.<\/p>\n

But Nice Guys aren’t nice to a woman because they want her as a mark,<\/p>\n

To get something they want,<\/p>\n

They are usually nice to her just because they tend to be nice to everyone.<\/p>\n

Which is …<\/p>\n

Nice.<\/p>\n

It tends to follow that whole Golden Rule philosophy which is a cornerstone of my being.<\/p>\n

Anyways …<\/p>\n

To all you nice guys out there,<\/p>\n

I can certainly appreciate your frustrations at times …<\/p>\n

But whatever you do,<\/p>\n

Don’t ever stop being you !!!<\/p>\n

A toast to you …<\/p>\n

May your day of vindication come soon and bring you great happiness !!<\/i><\/p>\n
