{"id":1271,"date":"2004-12-29T14:22:00","date_gmt":"2004-12-29T19:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amynews.com\/?p=1267"},"modified":"2015-10-08T17:37:33","modified_gmt":"2015-10-08T21:37:33","slug":"mount-st-amy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amynews.com\/2004\/12\/mount-st-amy\/","title":{"rendered":"Mount St. Amy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sunday morning I awoke to find what can only be described as &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>A big ass pimple on the tip of my nose.<\/p>\n<p>It was phreaking huge !!<\/p>\n<p>Orca huge !<\/p>\n<p>Now one might think that I would have been frustrated to find a big ass pimple on the tip of my nose,<\/p>\n<p>But I wasn&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Cause honestly,<\/p>\n<p>I was expecting a complete outbreak of pimple-age,<\/p>\n<p>All over my face.<\/p>\n<p>It was certainly deserved in light of the 4 tons of chocolate I consumed over the holidays.<\/p>\n<p>(Current and future boyfriends please note &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s really no need to spend ungodly sums of money on fine chocolates for me &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Save that waste of money on things purchased for me from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coach.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Coach<\/a> store or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.luckybrandjeans.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lucky<\/a> store.<\/p>\n<p>As far as chocolate purchases for me go:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hershey.com\" target=\"_blank\">Hershey<\/a> bars work great;<\/p>\n<p>I love <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nestle.com\/Our_Brands\/Chocolate_Confectionery\/Crunch\/\" target=\"_blank\">Nestle Crunch<\/a> bars;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.candywarehouse.com\/mounds.html\" target=\"_blank\">Mounds<\/a> are by far my favorite;<\/p>\n<p>And the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whitmans.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Whitman Sampler<\/a> &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Always works,<\/p>\n<p>Yummy.<\/p>\n<p>Though personally,<\/p>\n<p>I really like the Whitman Chocolate Covered Cherry sampler if you don&#8217;t mind going out of your way. It&#8217;s the one in the red box.<\/p>\n<p>Oh yeah, and chocolate milk rocks !!!)<\/p>\n<p>Anyways,<\/p>\n<p>Despite knowing the rules of pimple management,<\/p>\n<p>I decided to ignore them,<\/p>\n<p>And proceeded with trying to pop said big ass pimple on the tip of my nose.<\/p>\n<p>An act which went horribly wrong in light of my non-familiarity with additional damage that could be created by my recently acquired set of acrylic nails.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m really not sure how to describe the result &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It was sort of like a volcano that had exploded,<\/p>\n<p>With lava streaming down one of its sides,<\/p>\n<p>And the top all puffy red and jagged,<\/p>\n<p>With a really disturbing big black dot in the center.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I was not going to get any &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/amynews.com\/Blog\/archives\/001262.html\" target=\"_blank\">I fish for a living<\/a>&#8221; lines tossed at me looking like that !!<\/p>\n<p>However,<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Lo an behold &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I found make-up useful in disguising the self-inflicted woundage quite well.<\/p>\n<p>Incredibly well.<\/p>\n<p>So you can now move make-up from the &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><i>List of Things I Hate About Being a Girl<\/i> to the &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><i>List of Things About Being a Girl That Don&#8217;t Bother Me Nearly As Much As They Did At One Time<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Am I making progress or what? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sunday morning I awoke to find what can only be described as &#8230; A big ass pimple on the tip of my nose.
