I started receiving some interesting e-mails:<\/p>\n
“You are soooo phucking hot !<\/i>” … awww, that’s nice … delete.<\/p>\n
“Gawd you’re beautiful !!!!!<\/i>” … ohhhh, too sweet … delete.<\/p>\n
“I’m just writing to say you are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. I’d love to buy you a drink !!<\/i>” … heh, Coors Light then please … delete.<\/p>\n
“I heard you on 91X this morning, you’re even more beautiful than you sound !<\/i>” … please, please, continue \ud83d\ude42 … del<\/p>\n
Huh?<\/i><\/p>\n
What did that one just say ??

Hmmmm … now granted, I’ll pretty much talk with anyone,<\/p>\n
That’s how most of my adventures begin …<\/p>\n
And I have done radio (though I prefer television, seriously people … I really do need my own late night talk show),<\/p>\n
But I don’t remember speaking to anyone at 91X earlier.<\/p>\n
In fact, I don’t even know who or what station 91X is …<\/p>\n
This doesn’t make any sense.<\/p>\n
So I took a little closer look at the e-mail message,<\/p>\n
And noticed that it was addressed to my AmyPreston.com address,<\/p>\n
Not my AmyNews.com address.<\/p>\n
That’s odd …<\/p>\n
AmyPreston.com is my business\/professional e-mail address,<\/p>\n
The one I use for being Lawyer Amy.<\/p>\n
And the e-mails I receive there are exceedingly bland …<\/p>\n
“I didn’t do it. Will you help me? Yeah, I know, I’m using e-mail. Ironic, huh? Love, Theodore Kaczynski<\/i>”<\/p>\n
Never ones telling me I should be “playmate of the century<\/i>“.<\/p>\n
Now,<\/p>\n
I know …<\/p>\n
There are plenty of other Amy Prestons out there.<\/p>\n
A few are even attorneys.<\/p>\n
So every few months I do google searches …<\/p>\n
Checking to see if someone googling just my name would stumble across AmyNews.com …<\/p>\n
And I never show up in the first 10 pages of results. (Though probably will now after this post !! :))<\/p>\n
Anyways, I figured I’d do a search to see if I could solve the question as to why I was getting these more fawning than normal e-mails … \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
And POOF !!!<\/p>\n
There on page three of a simple search for Amy Preston …<\/p>\n
91X … Amy Preston … one of the top 10 sexiest bartenders in America according to Playboy!<\/i><\/p>\n
Hmmm … Super Sleuth Amy-Wan might be on to something here.<\/p>\n
So I linked to the site and found myself at the homepage for XTRA-FM<\/a> …<\/p>\n Where in the lower left hand corner I saw that the morning show did indeed do an interview with Amy Preston !!!<\/p>\n Apparently she has been picked by Playboy as one of the Top 10 sexiest bartenders anywhere !!!<\/p>\n Sa-wheeeet !! That’s gotta be good … as the way I see it … if those of us who share the same name of Amy Preston have one in our ranks that is a Playboy playmate … heck … she alone probably bumps up the average Amy Preston cuteness rating like two points !!<\/p>\n Meaning … I can slack off some !! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Soooo …<\/p>\n I found out that her website is AmyPreston.net<\/a>,<\/p>\n And went to check it out …<\/p>\n Where I noticed that on the contact page,<\/p>\n There was a typo …<\/p>\n Saying that her fans could send their e-mail to her address at fans@amypreston.com<\/u>,<\/p>\n While modeling inquiries could be sent to her manager at manager@amypreston.com<\/u>.<\/p>\n Ahhhhh …<\/p>\n That explains it.<\/p>\n All these people really didn’t think I was kute …<\/p>\n There were trying to contact her !!!<\/p>\n Figures ! *shrug*<\/p>\n Oh well,<\/p>\n Us Amy Prestons always stick together …<\/p>\n So I found her real e-mail address and told her about the typos.<\/p>\n She responded and was totally sweet and kewl !!<\/p>\n A completely nice person …<\/p>\n It must be the name !! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Anyways,<\/p>\n We exchanged e-mails a few more times …<\/p>\n Her web people got the typos corrected on her end …<\/p>\n And I’m setting up autoforwards on my end so that if anyone erroneously sends e-mails to either fans@amypreston.com or manager@amypreston.com they automatically get forwarded to her.<\/p>\n Funny, huh?<\/p>\n Now that I’m a girl,<\/p>\n And not interested in girls,<\/p>\n I finally meet a Playboy playmate !! lol<\/p>\n Oh yeah,<\/p>\n
