I had to go into the office the other night …<\/p>\n
Which was the first time I had left my house that day.<\/p>\n
Now …<\/p>\n
I know this might come as a surprise to some of you guys,<\/p>\n
But you see …<\/p>\n
When some women are at home,<\/p>\n
And really not planning on going out at all …<\/p>\n
They don’t spend their day all dolled up.<\/p>\n
I’m one of those chicas.<\/p>\n
Sure, sure …<\/p>\n
I showered in the morning,<\/p>\n
And washed\/conditioned my hair,<\/p>\n
But after that …<\/p>\n
I just tossed in a few barrettes,<\/p>\n
Let my hair air dry itself, and<\/p>\n
Spent the day pleasantly working in an uber comfortable pair of drawstring capris and my Geeks Heart Me<\/i> undersized graphic tee.<\/p>\n
Soooooo comfy ! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, situations later dictated that I go into the office that night …

\nAnd I sure wasn’t going to spend much time prepping myself for the trip downtown.<\/p>\n
So relunctantly … I changed my top.<\/p>\n
I really don’t think I can wear it in public any more …<\/p>\n
It’s just not the same …<\/p>\n
Since Amanda and Nicole came around.<\/p>\n
It now appears to read …<\/p>\n
Eks Heart M<\/i>,<\/p>\n
And though I think that phrase means nothing,<\/p>\n
I really don’t want to take the chance that there’s a group of Eks out there about which that I might be making a misleading statement.<\/p>\n
So I tossed on a kute collarless, v-neck, 3\/4 sleeve vertical ribbed tee with ruffled edging in a color that I can honestly say I have no phreaking clue where it fell in the spectrum (it was a cute style and I got it on sale at Marshall Fields for $4.99 !!) …<\/p>\n
Did it look good on me ??<\/p>\n
Was I even remotely color coordinated ??<\/p>\n
Heck …<\/p>\n
I didn’t know,<\/p>\n
And I didn’t care. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
I then removed the barrettes from my hair and just combed the mess straight, holding it there with a hairband, back exposing full forehead …<\/p>\n
Along with my “more prominent because of tanning other parts of the bod” ffs scar across my forehead.<\/p>\n
Make-up?<\/p>\n
Not a chance, I didn’t even bother with gloss …<\/p>\n
Opting instead to keep my lips kissable soft with Vaseline.<\/p>\n
I slipped on some flip-flops,<\/p>\n
Grabbed my pwus …<\/p>\n
And I was on my way.<\/p>\n
Continuing my lazy trend,<\/p>\n
I didn’t even park in the parking garage …<\/p>\n
Electing instead to park on the street at a meter that didn’t require coinage since it was after 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
It was pretty dead downtown …<\/p>\n
Very few people.<\/p>\n
After making sure I had everything I needed,<\/p>\n
I stepped out of my car,<\/p>\n
Pressed the lock button a couple of times …<\/p>\n
And started walking around the front of my car towards the sidewalk,<\/p>\n
