Both Shaft and Spuddy have been beyond sweet and helpful in supporting me in dealing with my transition.<\/p>\n
Mainly by not making me feel like a phreak as I go through this,<\/p>\n
Treating me pretty much normal throughout,<\/p>\n
Modified only slightly as it should be modified,<\/p>\n
And by keeping us laughing at all times. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Now Shaft is dysfunctionally busy with his life,<\/p>\n
Being pulled in 126 different directions …<\/p>\n
So we honestly have had little time to even talk anymore,<\/p>\n
Let along actually hang out.<\/p>\n
And Spuddy has sort of taken up the responsbility at work …<\/p>\n
Of checking in on me …<\/p>\n
Always taking the time to say ‘hi’,<\/p>\n
And just asking how I’m doing.<\/p>\n
Now please understand …<\/p>\n
All three of us are more than willing to toss out a comment for shock value purposes,<\/p>\n
Just to get a reaction and eventual laugh out of the other person.<\/p>\n
If anything, I’m more guilty than the others.<\/p>\n
What can I say … it keeps us on our toes and smiling<\/i> !<\/p>\n
So Shaft, Spuddy and myself were just finishing a conversation in Spuddy’s office …<\/p>\n
Actually I think Shaft was commenting how I was lucky that I no longer use the men’s room in the building as he just “burned down” the third floor stall.<\/p>\n
Fortunately, we were spared further details of this grusome incident when Shaft had to leave to take a call.<\/p>\n
So I was left talking with Spuddy…<\/p>\n
And we were discussing coordinating time to install some software on his computer …<\/p>\n
When out of the blue,<\/p>\n
In a total deadpan manner …<\/p>\n
Though displaying a smirk that I didn’t notice right away as I wasn’t looking at his face …<\/p>\n
He said …<\/p>\n
“Hey, dude, are your nipples always going to be that hard from now on ??<\/i>”<\/p>\n
Too funny !! \ud83d\ude42 LOL<\/p>\n
Now I didn’t bite … I didn’t look to see if he was just pulling my leg or telling the truth … that would have given him too much satisfaction …<\/p>\n
(Yeah right, like I really needed to look !)<\/p>\n
But I did toss him a nice double bird flip as I laughed leaving his office.<\/p>\n
Oh well …<\/p>\n
