Lazy Amy Post To Move The Annual Exam Post From The Top Of The Page

It’s been a while since I’ve done a set of Rapid Fire Questions With Amy post,

So what the heck,

Let’s give it a whirl.

Though since I’m feeling a bit too lazy to review my e-mail inbox to get the questions I’ve been saving, here’s the plan this time:

1. Ask your question in a comment to this post. I’ll answer it in a comment, though might cut and paste it and eventually add the Questions and Amswers to the body of this post.

2. You don’t have to use your real name or real e-mail address in the form part of the comment box. I’m kewl with anonymity. Though if you make one up, please give a run at being funny.

3. I’m pretty fine with answering most questions, though if there are any mean-spirited ones or ones that just kross the line, whatever line that might be, I do reserve the right to edit out the question, ’cause well, it is my site after all.

4. I also reserve the right to try and be funny in my answers. Obviously, there’s no guarantee I’ll succeed, but I still might try.

5. This post will be open for 24 hours, at which time, it’ll probably remain open. Again, because I’ll probably be too lazy to open the Admin panel and close this post. So if you’re reading this post like a year from now, feel free to add a comment. If it’s a legit question, I’ll probably still answer it.

Ready?

Okay …

On your mark, Get Set, GO !!!

  1. Hmmm… What to ask? What to ask? What to ask?!!! So many possibilities…

    Ok, I’ll ask this one:

While reaserching what happens when one starts taking estrogen and it changes the body and rewires the brain, some sources state that an MTF will not be excited about (finally) having boobs (something I certainly look forward to having), that’s it’s part of the rewiring to lose interest and that they’re just somethng that’ll get in the way, balh blah blah.

Other sources, mainly ts women, remain very excited and are very happy to be carrying a couple of mammaries on their chest all the time.

So my question is: What do you think? Are you happy about having them or are you part of the take them or leave them crowd?

    Thanks! πŸ™‚

  2. please don’t think i’m being snide, aims…
    but i’m wondering…
    two years ago,
    you overheard someone say that,
man or woman, there was no lawyer better than you,
and that there was no one they’d rather have defending them in court…

do people still say things like that about you?

  3. ok,
    so,
what about the rumble you had with your SOC gatekeeper about your GRS because you weren’t willing to wait a year before having the surgery after you went β€œfull-time”.

  10. Holleee shiit, Jedi. You have a serious fan club. I might have to just avoid you just to pursue my “No Famous Transpeeps” policy…but we definitely need to meet up. Expect a call soon. Probably at 4AM.

    oh right, the thread topic:
Here’s a rude question: What’s wrong with you?

Do you think life was more exciting during your transition period. I.E when you were doing boy by day and chica by night.

  15. Hey Marcia !!! Goodness no … not snarky at all !!! πŸ™‚

How do I like my new bod?

    Ummm, I like it nekked ! πŸ™‚

(How many of you saw that coming ?? :))

Actually, I think I like my body as most natal women like their bodies , i.e. I think there are good aspects to it, but at the same time, I’m weight obsessed, so I’m constantly thinking I’m too fat and that there are bad aspects to it.

However, as far as how do I like my body compared to my body in Me Ver. 1.0? Well, for me, it’s really not so much my body of which I’m aware, actually, stay with me here folks, it’s that I’m so aware of not being aware of my body now. Does that make sense?

It’s really about the elimination of the most disruptive ailment of gender dysphoria for me, which was the constant, persistent, intrusive awareness that something was wrong with me. And that dissipated substantially not at the point of my final surgery, but when I transitioned. Though most think it’s about the body, and in some aspects it is, it’s not only about the body, at least for me. πŸ™‚

Oh yeah, and with sprinkles on top.

  16. If you’re ever in Chicago with some free time, can I take you out to lunch or dinner? You’ve been a big inspiration for me.

Also, where’s my darn t-shirt from the Amyways contest? :p

  17. I’ll bite and give this a try. Here goes: After two years on hormones (has it been that long already?) and living full time outside of work (I’m a teacher and my gender correction seems to be a problem with the school system, though my principal and fellow teachers knows and are supportive) I still look like a guy. Yeah, I look more girly then I did, and my twins look pretty amazing, but the face just screams guy. Short of having FFS (can’t swing that on a teachers salary), what’s a girl to do? I see girls like you and I just don’t know if I can pull this off. Need a pick me up in Louisville!

  18. Mama Bear – Oh wow, so we’re getting the most phrequently asked Amy-question out of the way early in the game, huh ???

Yes. it’s my real hair. Wanna know a bit of the history of the Amy-do ??

Well, I started the process of growing it out in 2003. At that time I went to a new salon stylist, trusted him with knowledge of my Function and told him I needed him to style me out a cut that would work for me during the day when I was still doing boy, yet allow myself the flexibility to grow it out for the future Amy-do. My stylist is the best … in fact, all the people in his salon are, most have tinkered here or there with my mane at one time or another. If you’re a local, you should really consider going there … tell them Amy from AmyNews.com sent you !

Amyways, as far as hair care goes, I use Aveda products. They are gawdawfully expensive … sadly though, they smell great and once you use them, you’re addicted to them, kind of like Big Macs (whatever) … the products really do wonderful things for your hair. For the environmentalists out there, I think the products are all natural, which for me is really a negative, but it’s something I can overlook. πŸ™‚ I use their shampoo, conditioner and some even more overpriced krap to tone down my fly-aways.Β

I’m contemplating getting it cut … shortening the length in the back some. It’s a little long and uncontrolled me thinks. Fortunately, my stylist knows me, and he and his entire team know how difficult everyone’s life can become whenever we do anything the least bit different with my hair … so when last time I mentioned I wanted to cut it short, he refused to do it. Smart man. Smart man. Maybe I’ll just do a trim. πŸ™‚

Oh yeah, let’s see … I usually wash/condition my hair twice, maybe three times a week. Usually Sundays and Thursdays … it’s purely coincidental they are the mornings after bar nights πŸ™‚ … sometimes I break down on Tuesday and wash the do then too.

  19. Wow … what you won’t do to simply say you’ve posted something!!! Oops! Sorry … not a question. Well, let’s see. Is that your real hair???? πŸ™‚

  20. LOL Whatever !!! LOL πŸ™‚ Yes, I do read your website ! Everyone, Si is one of my Field Correspondents on my Front Page. In fact, she was my very first Field Correspondent. Her and Stacy were the only two people who read my site back in 2002. And yes, I had to pay both of them to read it ! πŸ™‚

Yuhp, yuhp, yuhp … I’m going to Gold Rush. I’m arriving sometime late Thursday, I think close to midnight. I was definitely planning on katching up with you and hanging … you tell me when good is good … and for anyone else, it’d be great seeing you too. If you want to track me down, the first place to always look is the nearest bar. It’s not something I’m necessarily proud of, it just happens to be the case more times than naught. *shrug* πŸ˜‰

  21. “Hi, I just think you’re the coolest tranniceleb ever! I’m so inspired by you! My name is Sianna, and I was just wondering if you ever read my blog, an-”

    haha.

Are you coming to GR? Should we plan something or stay aloof and stuff?
