And The Survey Says …
1. What time did you get up this morning? 5:15 AM. Whatta phreak !! I know.
2. Diamonds or pearls? If anyone has to ask me that question, they really don’t know me well enough to be interested in getting me either. But for those of you who don’t know me well enough to get me either, and even if you did, have no interest in getting me either, but still want to know the answer … it is a definite on the diamonds !!! ๐ Preferrably in triplicate as I have a thing for Past-Present-Future settings … rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, blah, blah, blah.
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? I’m not sure, I really don’t see many movies anymore. I think the last was A Series of Unfortunate Events. I saw it with Baby Brother, Sister-in-Law, Nephew 1, and Nephew 2. It wasn’t as good as I expected it to be, but the popcorn and frozen Mountain Dew were particularly yummy … probably because Baby Brother bought them for me !! ๐
4. What is your favorite TV show? It’d be between 24, CSI, The Amazing Race, Battlestar Galactica, Enterprise, Survivor, Stargate: Atlantis, and American Idol.
24 is great this season and for a little trivia, when I don’t use the bar name of Jane Rove, I toss out the name Michelle Almeda from time to time … no one has caught on to it yet. Though on the other hand, it’s not like the guys asking are really listening to anything I’m saying.
CSI is still a fav, though I’m sort of pissed off at it right now … splitting up the teams was a stupid thing, and Catherine is being a jerk … which is quite disappointing to me as a few souls have figured out, she’s one of the chica’s from whom I’ve sort of stolen my look.
Enterprise is having its best season since they have finally brought in someone to guide the series with some Trek loyalty; unfortunately, it’s a little too late as the series is being cancelled at the end of the season.
The Amazing Race is my favorite reality based show now. I’ve even talked MacGyver into applying with me for the one after next. (The next one is family groups only). Rob and Amber from Survivor are on this Amazing Race and I’m in love with them !! I so hope they win !! ๐
Survivor is back !! Last season’s was rather boring in my opinion, but this new crop of Survivors and the tweaks they have made to the show totally kick !!! And for those wondering, I’m still applying !! ๐
Battlestar Galactica is great !!!! The old one from the late 70’s was kind of goofy, but I enjoyed it. This one is dark and intense. It’s excellent. And hey, it has to be good since Starbuck and Boomer had sex changes too !! ๐
Stargate: Atlantis was a surprise liking to me. I’ve never been much into the Stargate series even though MacGyver is the star; however, I decided to give this one a run since I could watch it from the beginning and get the general story line. I have ended up liking it a great deal and it’s part of my Friday night Tivo recording set.
American Idol has without a doubt the best collective set of talent in the finals as they have ever had !! I love the show !! My personal favorites are Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice !! Both are great, though I’m pulling for Carrie since she’s another blonde that seems to have a thing for light blue tops !! ๐
5. What did you have for breakfast? I don’t eat breakfast.
6. What is your favorite color? I’m into pinks these days. However, I sense a return of my infatuation with light blues and oranges, Fanta Orange specifically.
7. Favorite cuisine? I’m a hamburger and fries kind of girl. Meat and potatoes (sp? :)) do wonders for my attitude … I guess that pretty much means I’m into American grub.
8. What foods do you dislike? Not very many. I hate ketchup, catsup, whatever and most tomato based products. Oh yeah, and bologna makes me barf.
9. What is your favorite crisp snack? I’m not sure what crisp snack means, but I snack on celery stalks a great deal. On average, I go through 4 stalks of celery hearts a week.
10. What is your favorite CD at the moment? I really don’t do cd’s, I do playlists, and my current fav is one I call Pudding with Amy which plays: White Houses, Vanessa Carlton; Breaking the Habit, Linkin Park; Somebody to Shove, Soul Asylum; Good, Better than Ezra; Jellyhead, Crush; Stand, Jewel; Another Postcard, Bare Naked Ladies; Since You Been Gone, Kelly Clarkson; Disarm, Smashing Pumpkins; Alone, Carrie Underwood; For All We Know, The Carpenters; Perfect Time of Day, Howie Day; I’ll Be (acoustic version), Edwin McCain; Time, Chantal Kreviazuk.
11.What kind of car do you drive? 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. Eh, I know … it’s not much, but I’m not really into cars. I’m perfectly comfortable if my next vehicle is a hand me down from my future husband. As long as it’s not a feereign p.o.k., I’ll be quite fine with it, especially if he’ll continue washing it for me. ๐
12. Favorite sandwich? That would be a hamburger. Mustard, lettuce, tomato and onioooooon.
13. What characteristic do you despise? Hypocrits.
14. Favorite item of clothing? You know, I got this really comfortable long sleeve, cotton top at Forever 21 a few weeks ago for $2.00 and I’m loving it. It fits me snugly where I want to be snug and hangs loosely to cover up my winter weight where I want it covered up.
15. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? Hawaii
16. What color is your bathroom? Ummm … Peach and Purple I think. Anyone who has been to my crib lately, please correct me if I’m wrong. The color combo is horrid, I know, but it’s the color combo of the tile in the bathroom and my mom and sister-in-law did a stunning job recently of making it look quite cute … at least in the eyes of this color blind chica. ๐
17. Favorite brand of clothing? 1. The Limited. 2. Banana Republic. 3. J. Crew. 4. Old Navy. 5. Casual Corner.
18. Where would you like to retire to? Arizona
19. What was your most memorable birthday? Let’s see … from my youth, my 7th birthday is quite memorable as I got the 10 speed bike that I wanted. My 30th birthday was also very memorable as Ex surprised me with having a party that I didn’t see coming at all !!
20 Where were you born? Owosso, Michigan. Yeah, funny name for a city, huh ?? Get this … it’s in Shiawassee County. Sometimes Baby Brother and I get goofy and say Owosso and Shiawassee in the “wassabee” way … you can really sound like you’re in a Jackie Chan movie with just those two words.
21. Favorite sport to watch? Football. Favorite sport period.
22. Who do you least expect to send this back to you? Not applicable.
23. Person you expect to send it back first? Not applicable.
24. What fabric detergent do you use? Tide
25. Are you a morning person or a night person? Morning person.
26. What is your shoe size? 9 or 9 1/2.
27. Do you have any pets? Not anymore. ๐
28. Any new and exciting news you’d like to share with your family & friends? Not really, I don’t want to ruin the surprise of any upcoming posts !! ๐
29. What did you want to be when you were little? Right. But not as in “correct” about something, but as in having something that was wrong with me “corrected”.
30. What are you doing today? A man. LOL Just Kidding !!!!! Lighten up !!!! ๐ Actually, I’m working my ass off, that’s what I’m doing today. Nothing more, nothing less.
31. Is there anything else you’d like to share? Isn’t this question very similar to question No. 28? No, again, not really … I don’t want to ruin the shock value of any future posts, though I will share with you what I think was my funniest, deadpan delivery one liner last week …

McG, bad weather is the only reason the plane isn’t overhead pulling a banner with the bowling scores right now!
A,
You’ve shown great restraint this morning in not “dancing on the desk” about the bowling scores last night….or is the build up to that “how bout those bowling scores” quote we’ll see on ESPN soon ๐
M-G
Yes I lost, Amy Rules!
Thanks Shaft, Amy has been pestering me to lower that score (not my best score, but not bad since I’ve held the title for three weeks now) for a couple of days now.
Good luck on State in the final four…..my last hope in the pool since OSU, Tech and Florida decided to really dork up my bracket this year.
Here, Here! Props to McG for the MP reference.
OK,OK,OK…I’m caving in a little on that somewhat small attempt convince me to spot you some pins this week ๐
Then shalt thou count to 430, no more,no less. 430 shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the
number of the counting shalt be 430. 432 shalt thou not count, neither count thou 429, excepting that thou then proceed to 430.
Python in the morning….lol.
I’m just getting lucky M-G ! ๐
I seriously think you need to spot me some pins in this weeks little bowling challenge !! *snicker* *snicker*
Don’t be fooled on Amy’s claimed lack of knowledge in picking tourney bracket winners..lol..she is dangerously close to winning this year’s pool, chalked full of seasoned tourney bracket pool players (why did I stay with my big 12 picks…geeez). As for bologna…I hear it’s great as fish bait ๐
Debbie !!! That’s yuck !!!! Though I’ve heard of others liking the same sandwich !! Double ick !! lol ๐
Buenos d๎ขณ Yodette !! You know, for some reason, cooked bologna sounds a little better … not much, just a little. ๐
When I was a child my mom a few times made “Mexican Hats” for breakfast. They were slices of bologney cooked on a skillet. When they heated the heat deformed them into little meat sombreros and she’d fill them with scrambled egg. They weren’t a taste treat but we liked them because they were cute and she liked them because they were cheap.
would you believe…..
that my favorite sandwich when i was a kid….
was….
bologna and ketchup??
Amy,
1. Diamonds; any gentleman prospects out there please take notes.
2. Robots; it was pretty good, although I wish Robin Williams had been a little more ad lib.
The best movie I’ve seen recently was The Notebook. I cried and cried. I saw it at a friend’s house with 3 gg’s and we all just boohoo’ed. It was so good- highly recommended.
3. CSI- love the endings in particular. Always some little twist or lesson or provocative thought.

ROFL Hey Uncle Dave !!! Congrats on your boys in the NCAA Tourney !! Izzo is a class act … you’re lucky !! ๐ I picked State to lose to Duke in my pool, but MacGyver has them in the Final Four. I’m rooting for an all Big Ten Final !!
amy
you are incorrigible. if you mention Fanta one more time we’re all gonna hang you up by your brassiere….that is if you remembered to wear one.
