Protecting One’s Turf
So we’re at the weekly Sunday brunch …
Mom, Dad, Bro, Sister-in-law, Nephew 1, Nephew 2 and me.
And there’s this adorable little baby at the table next to us …
Prompting my Sister-in-law to comment about my interest in possibly adopting a child someday,
And perking up the ears of Nephew 1,
Leading him to say …
“Noooooo, don’t adopt a baby !!”
“Why not?”
“Because, if you get a baby, then the baby would get all the things you give Nephew 2 and me now !”
The boys are sharp I’m telling ya !! 🙂
No doubt you’d make a great Mom if you ever decided to adopt…..those boys are smart – they don’t want the Aunt Amy Gravy Train to stop any time soon……ya gotta give ’em credit!!!! They put the ART in Smart…:)
