Don’t Put It There !
Everyone who has a public journal faces the same issue …
Just how public shall it be.
For me … it’s been pretty public.
The following topics are the only ones off limits:
I generally avoid talking politics, that just gets people pissed off;
Religion, except when I’m in the mood to be sparky;
Personal personal actiooon, hehe, like there’s anything to talk about there; and,
Places where I’m going to be. Oh sure, I’ll mention afterwards, and it’s almost always Chicago or Ann Arbor, but some of the e-mail I get makes me hesitant to advertise places where I’m going to be before I’m there. Yes, I’m still regretting joining the Head-Up-My-Ass-Redneck Web-ring. 🙂
But twice in the past week …
Something in physical life has been said to me that has been hilarious …
Phreaking hilarious.
In both comments …
I think I might have been the punch-line …
And both were totally spontaneous by the speakers …
And in both …
Moments after the words were uttered that made me laugh my ass off …
They were followed by the speaker’s firm declaration …
“Don’t you dare post that on your website !!”
Hehe … Such power !!
Though totally odd when people start conversations with you by saying …
“This is off the record !”
