Psst … these questions suck, and thus … so do the answers. The only psuedo-interesting info is that you can IM me on Yahoo Messenger at amy1985um or on MSN at AmyNews. Skip the rest of the reading and check back throughout the day. I’m going to post questions to myself and their answers all day long ! Gawd, I’m so weird !! πŸ™‚

1. How much time do you spend online each day?

Let’s see … 24 hours a day times 60 minutes per hour times 60 seconds per minute equals 86,400 seconds a day total … I’d say roughly 86,399 seconds a day.

Actually, it depends on my computer accessibility. If I have a computer and connection, I’m usually on-line. I turn my computer on at home the second I walk in the door and I’m on-line the entire time I’m there. The same routine at the office. Though if I’m at court, site obs, or offsite … somewhere where I don’t have a live wire … then I’m not on-line. I don’t carry a Blackberry and I never use the web browsing feature on my mobile phone … I’ll take my notebook with me on occasion to a hotspot, but that’s more novelty than necessity. This week for example … I really didn’t work too hard, just had to be all over the place … so I was rarely on-line at the office, and when I finally arrived home … though my computer was on-line, one night I became engrossed in a book and then the following night, I just fell asleep really, really early !! πŸ™‚

2. What is your browser homepage set to?

My Yahoo personalized page. Boring, I know. I just have it personalized for the news I like to track, weather, movie times and television listings for my neck of the woods.

3. Do you use any instant messaging programs? If so, which one(s)?

Yes … I use Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger. Look for me on-line sometime and say “hi” … or “hola” … or “you’re such a tool” … or, well just use your imagination !!! πŸ™‚

My Yahoo name is amy1985um and my MSN name is AmyNews.

4. Where was your first webpage located?

Ahhhh …. at Geocities … back in late 2000 or early 2001. It was lame and I never finished it. Basically it was the early stages of my Decision analysis. Then I maintained a site at Blogger in August 2002 for a while … it was a good home for me, and made it easy for my to diary my thoughts, events and such. But it was slow and didn’t have some features I wanted, not that I really use those features, but I wanted them !! πŸ™‚ … So I made the jump to MovableType in March 2003, though I imported all my posts at the Blogger site into the archive at AmyNews.com.

5. How long have you had your current website?

I’ve been at the current residence since March 2003.

  1. as ever,
    i feel so sorry for the posts
    that have no comments;
    they can only be what they are…

    i’m having one of those
    “life goes on”
    moments,
    and my wrist hurts
    because i’m at the library,
    standing at a computer…
    i had to be one place until 5
    and another by 7
    and didn’t want to spend 45 mins
    going home and back again…

    my son is in the study room;
    i’m hitting pages i don’t want
    staring up at me from my recent visits list…
