Well … that’s a relief !

(Since this is something I personally consider serious, I’m not doing any cheap, news media tricks this time of displaying only the teaser on the front page to force you to read the entire post to find out its gist. However, I will return to using said irritating practice with subsequent posts. 🙂 )

Whew …

I’m one relieved chickie-poo …

I called my doc yesterday morning to see how long it was going to be before my MRI results came back …

And was told … it’ll be a week before they are dictated probably … unless there is an emergency, then they will contact us right away.

So when I returned home last night/early morning and heard the nurse from my doctor’s office leaving me a message … and knew that it had been less than two days since I had the test …

I was very anxious.

Now … I leave messages for people all the time … sometimes good news … sometimes bad news.

Good news … if I get voicemail … I always leave in the voicemail.

Bad news … if I get voicemail … I make mild reference to the issue and request they call me at their earliest possible convenience.

So I knew …

As soon as I heard her utter the words … “we received your MRI results and the doctor asked me to call and tell you …”

YES !! They are telling me the results in a voicemail !! 🙂

“… that your MRI looks normal, or as the doctor “perfectly normal”. That’s good news. You’re fine. Please call us if you have any questions.”

Whew … whew … whew.

I was totally phreaked out there for a few days ! 🙂 Add to that the whole bandage ripping I’ve engaged in this week … no wonder I’ve considered snorting glue (jk).

Kewl … now we can return to our regular programming. 🙂
