Field Correspondent Pimping

Oh my gosh … I’m gone for three days and so much happens … my, my, my the Field Correspondents have certainly been busy ! 🙂

Congrats to Sianna for taking over as moderator of the Genderpeace (GP) forum boards. If you’re T, it’s a great forum to check out, I’m not a big fan of forum boards, as in my own personal experience I’ve seen them frequently become clique-ish and mean – but I’ve been lurking on GP since about a month after the founder set it up and it’s a great place, I lurk there daily – without a doubt, some of the nicest people are on that board (they’ve picked me up when I’ve been phunking) and the advice and experiences you can read and learn from seem neverending … personally, I lurk there because of my posting paranoia … I can’t believe anything I say can sound half as intelligent or helpful as what the others say … so I just regress to my wallflower mode and absorb all the wisdom of the others … so whether you’re a lurker or a poster … if you’re T, you could bennie from checking it out. And if you’re not T, a few of the boards are even accessible for you !! (You don’t get full access unless you know the super, secret password which is implanted into your brain 6 – 11 weeks after conception ! :P)

Stacy has posted … get this … a 13 Minute Screenplay titled Nothing Happens. Twice. But that’s not the best part … the kewlest is that Emily has 1/2 of the screen time !! Yes !! Seriously !! I’m so excited !! And of course, Stacy gave Emily all the great lines 🙂 … and a few of the lines … are straight from the pages here at AmyNews.com !! So wwk !! 🙂 Just goes to show you, my life should be a sitcom !! It’s another great screenplay … I still don’t get half the references, but that’s my fault, sometimes I just have to have things spelled out for me … it totally blows me away how someone can be so observant and skilled in writing that they can capture the personality of someone they’ve never meant … seriously, as disturbed as this is … I’m like totally Emily (oh, except for the fact that I’d never wear a tube top, ima sleeveless v-neck kinda girl) … I know what she’s going to say before I even read it sometimes … and yet, I’ve never met Stacy in rl, only on-line, posts and e-mail … that’s just wild. Anyways, all you boogers out there that don’t like being fictional characters … that’s fine with me … I love the screentime !! 🙂 But the rest of you should check it out !!

Caitlin is moving to Seattle !! Yeah Caitlin !! 🙂 If you’ve been a total loser and haven’t been going to her site daily, then get your butt there right now !! I said NOW !! 🙂 She’s got some amazing posts lately that had me thinking all the way to and back from my golf outting. Good luck to her on the move and all … though personally I think she should have considered Chicago as the next venue to grace her presence … she’s got fans everywhere and it’s on her way West and all ! Plus, it’d be superconvenient for me to absorb by “nearby proximity osmosis” some of her wisdom !! 🙂 Plus plus, maybe I could gleam some stand-up comedy advice from her so I could check that item off my life to-do list !! hehehe

Are you calling w3bgrl names? Listen pal, back off or I’ll have Shaft sit on you … naw … really, it’s okay !! ‘Cause w3bgrl subbed her docs to legally get her name changed !! woo hoo !! So you can all her a new name !! 🙂 I’m so so so jealous here … the name change process I have to go through is a messy procedural ordeal and I’m still not sure if I’m going to pull it off here or have to execute a contingency plan … but I’m super hyped for w3bgrl … congrats chica !! (Ahhh, just for my rl friends that visit here, her new legal name is NOT chica, geezuz !)

Okay, just so you don’t think I’m disrespecting Venus Envy or The Other Amy …

If you don’t go to Venus Envy to read each and every Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun comic, then you’re such a dolt that you prolly won’t follow my advice anyways, but just in case, Erin has done some serious revamping of the look and feel of the website, so that alone is worth the visit, and when you’re there …. check out her comics, they are the best !!

As far as The Other Amy goes … a few of her recent posts have hit such a nerve with me that I’ve got an entry I’m working on … so if you’re a dedicated student, then feel free to read ahead, but if you’re anything like me, then you’ll do your homework at the last minute, so just wait until I post my entry and I’ll be giving Amy plenty of pimpin’ props then !! 🙂
