Hobbies: Laughing, witty comments (okay, some people think it’s just sarcasm), movies, endlessly quoting movie lines, golf (technically, according to the PGA and LPGA, you are supposed to golf from the tees based on the gender identified on your first birth certificate, so in my case I’m supposed to play the white/blue tees still, but I just don’t have the muscle mass anymore … part of the whole becoming a girl thing, hormones, ya know … so I play the red or the golds), football, baseball, watching television — lots of television, bowling (in September 2004 I got fired by my old bowling team … seriously, how many people do you know that have actually been kicked off a bowling team ?? How pathetic ! Anyways, after a few tryouts with other teams, I’ve recently been picked up off waivers by a new team – who seem exceptionally nice and maybe won’t make me the only person in the world kicked off two bowling teams !!), improving my complete command of totally useless information (Calvin and Hobbes reference), applying to reality based television shows (to date, rejected by Survivor, The Mole, The Amazing Race, Big Brother), e-mailing with friends, hanging out with family.

Favorite Meal: Hamburgers and French Fries
Favorite Song to Sing When I’m Drunk: I Think I Love You, The Partidge Family
Song I Kareoke to Sober: Everywhere to Me, Michelle Branch; Believe, Cher (Yeah, I know, it’s such a token song to sing, but listen guys … if your girl sings this song when you’re out doing the kareoke thing – and you hear any sort of bite in her version of it – take a look at your relationship dude because you might be in for some serious dumpage. Of course … you’d like it if we just told you to your face that we’re frustrated with things and you might be on the way out, but we don’t, so deal with it. This is your hint. And now that I’ve told you how we do things, you’ve been warned and have no excuse if you find yourself crying in your beer and suddenly remembering two weeks prior your ex singing this song !); Spiderwebs, No Doubt; Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Deep Blue Something.

You are a real inspiration to all of us, TG or otherwise. I’m an MTF myself and have just started hormome treatments a couple of months ago. Thank you for sharing with us. As someone mentioned above, it helps tremendously to know we are not alone. 🙂 Thank you
