Okay readers …… we need your assistance here ….. yes, I said we …… Shaft asked me to post this …….. So I need your input
Shaft’s wife went and saw the play Mama Mia in Toronto over the weekend ….. a play I’m dying to see …. huge ABBA fan here …. anyways, I put it on my to do list to go see it sometime soon …… figured I’d make a three day weekend out of it and spend the time in Amy mode (I did mention to Shaft that when I go see Mama Mia ….. I’ll be wearing a shorter dress than I’m sure his wife was wearing).
Anyways ………..
Shaft is giving me all sorts of grief about how if I go see a play featuring ABBA music, then I lose my rights to like Star Wars movies …….
We commence engaging in verbal assault on one another …..
I maintain that both are equally enjoyable activities, but in different ways …..
Shaft says there are no similarities whatsoever ……
And that the activities are mutually exclusive …….
I then say that ABBA is much better than that Stairway to Heaven band he likes …..
The statement sent him over the edge …..
So what we need are your thoughts on the two following questions:
1. Which is a better band …. ABBA or Led Zeppling?
2. Is it acceptable to like both Star Wars and ABBA?
